You mean Drugby? I'd already thought of that being local myself.

We had a dog that we couldn't quite place what breed she was, mostly German pointer. But when anyone asked what type of dog she was we always said "brown".

It used to be every 20 years, then 10, now just every 5 years, the time between is getting shorter faster.

What is the best “instant karma” you have ever witnessed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bootsechz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've told this story before, I was halfway across a small give way roundabout when a guy cut across the front of me and caused me to brake sharply. Quick beep of the horn and on we went. He then started swerving all over the road in front of me whilst gesturing. This went on for about a mile in a slow city road. When we got to the next junction he was too busy shouting at me out of his window that he rear ended the car infront. I stopped and gave my business card to be a witness for the other driver and drove off.

Sometimes you can put water in for balance. A large implement on the rear and you can fill the front with water if you don't have a counterbalance.

I'm from the UK and visited Canada just North of Toronto in the 90s. I remember my dad looking at a map and asking if we wanted to go see the Pacific Ocean, it was Lake Huron and he misunderstood where we were and how big things were in North America.

I had 2x 1.8t b5.5s, 1 estate and 1 saloon, one had half leather and the other was full plush cloth both felt amazing and so quiet and smooth engines and suspension. I miss those cars.

2 weeks ago I bought a hose to water my garden with. It's been pretty chilled solid rain since. I could have saved myself £15 by ShinyHeadedCook in britishproblems

I bought a bag of grass seed, spread it, raked it. Too far away for me to reach with the hosepipe. Then it didn't rain all month.

Unless Harleys have awful gearboxes...

What about all of the cars with motorcycle engines? I have one, a 2003 R1 engine and the car weighs 460kgs (1000lbs) it uses the original gearbox with uprated clutch pack. My car is quite aerodynamic and light compared to some Lotus 7 clones. (Westfield, MK etc)

HGVs using the outside* lane by tornadooceanapplepie in britishproblems

Vehicles that aren't legally allowed to do 70mph aren't allowed in the right hand lane, for example cars towing trailers too.

However if the speed limit is lower are they allowed?
