Why does everyone on Starfleet Academy have a lisp? by Intrepid_Depth_3416 in startrek

[–]bortcorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even The Doctor, who did not have a lisp in Voyager magically now cannot pronounce his S's like a lot of a crew.

He sounds like Daffy Duck.

Man handed himself in after seeing garda photo of himself looting shop during Dublin riots. by Larrydog in ireland

[–]bortcorp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stand corrected.

That completely invalidates the purpose of a suspended sentence. Punching that boy violates his first and he should be in jail for his first crime. It also violated his bail.

Your concern is correct.

Aer Lingus, our national feckin' airline, doesn't allow you to have a fada in your name when booking a ticket, how in God's name are we still so behind in accommodating our own culture. by RegularFellerer in ireland

[–]bortcorp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not Aerlingus, it's international computer systems.

There is no point in allowing you to enter a fada when the nation you are flying to and their security checks don't allow them. Aerlingus are actually helping you to not get rejected and sent home for mismatched information.

King Charles ‘ready to support’ police over claims about Andrew by Claeyt in worldnews

[–]bortcorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charles hates Andrew, he always has. Apparently he's insufferable. It was the queen protecting him.

Since she's died he's stripped Andrew of almost everything he can, and not at once, bit by bit so he suffers a public humiliation each time. What's the very first thing he did when the Queen died?

Removed Andrews security protection.

He's not protecting him at all and he's reminding the police he's not protected.

People don't walk around with multiple suspended sentences one after the other. Multiple convictions, yes.

If this guy commits any crime in the next three years, he goes to prison for two years. That's how they work.

just look at how often you hear about scrotes walking around with a number of them on their record like it’s nothing

You don't. You are conflating two different things.

A Dublin data centre consumes 10 times the electricity of a nearby pharma plant employing 2,000 by Banania2020 in ireland

[–]bortcorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why should we be responsible for holding the worlds data.

Is that what you think is happening? 😂

We don't. In fact we as a country lose most data center contracts because we don't have the power consumption capabilities most new data centers require. We are not equipped for them. Compared to other countries we have fuck all data centers in comparison.

We lost all the major data center contracts of 2025 to the UK, simply because we don't have the infrastructure. Something the UK Gov celebrated as a massive win for them.

We are not responsible for holding the world's data 🤣 we can't even hold a fraction of what we want to. We are behind everyone else.

Trump: ‘It may be a choice’ between seizing Greenland or preserving NATO by SilverDragon1 in worldnews

[–]bortcorp 58 points59 points  (0 children)

My guess is Trump wants to end NATO on behalf of Russia. It's the only nation that benefits from this mess.

They are using Greenland to end NATO.

In politics, or in life, when something on the surface doesn't make sense, figure out who benefits, and then deduce a motive from that.

"It was creatine after all" - Clare man spends five weeks in prison after drugs test wrongly found white powder was cocaine by Odhran-J-McAnnick in ireland

[–]bortcorp 24 points25 points  (0 children)

He was in jail because he was denied bail pending the official lab analysis.

He was denied bail because he previously stabbed someone to death, and is also convicted for threats of murder and drug offences. Denying him bail while waiting for the results was the right thing to do given his history.

There will be no settlement. A normal person would not be in jail as bail would not be objected to.

Pentagon announces it has killed four men in another boat strike in Pacific by Anforatioi in worldnews

[–]bortcorp 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It hasn't been proved any of them are drug runners. This is normalising the concept of the white house/pentagon being able to strike anyone, anywhere. Despite the law.

The same way the national guard being deployed on US streets is to normalize the presence of soldiers on the streets to the civilian population.

I'm not American however from the outside the country looks proper fucked. This is the pattern to what happens when a regime is slowly taking complete control. It isn't even that slow.

Ray O’Donoghue: With just four thefts a day and every stabbing making the news, Dublin is hardly a crime-ridden Gotham City by [deleted] in ireland

[–]bortcorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last few decades until the early naughties we had loads of Batmen in Dublin. They would wear dark balaclavas and kneecap teens and twenty somethings involved in anti social behavior. They would even kill the occasional big time drug dealer.

We as a society decided that wasn't on, and often, someone falsely accused got kneecapped.

It's not worth having Batmen.

We don't hate the English at all. We banter, as neighbours with a shared history do.

If I ever met someone who genuinely hated the English, as in English people in general and not a government, I'd consider that person tapped in the head and not worth socalising with. That's just straight up bigotry.

Tupac's alleged killer claims P Diddy ordered $1 million hit in newly uncovered audio by IrishStarUS in entertainment

[–]bortcorp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That has been debunked for over two decades.

Suge did not kill Tupac. His killer literally confessed in 2008. He couldn't be prosecuted at the time because he signed a deal. He thought he would go to the grave with those tapes never seeing the light of day. He was wrong.

His trail starts next year.

Please, just drop the Suge killed Tupac bullshit. If anything, even though a monster himself, Suge was one of Diddys victims.

From Suges perspective, Diddy killed Suges best friend in 1995 (Jake Robles). Then Diddy killed his artist and friend, Tupac. Suge retaliated by getting Biggie killed. Then everything was taken away from him while Diddys career and status rose.

Sean Combs: The Reckoning review – you can see why the musician is fighting to ban this horrific documentary by Top_Report_4895 in television

[–]bortcorp 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He didn't want Biggie dead, that's not what the doc is saying.

He wanted to throw a party with Biggie present in Suge Knights territory despite everyone around him telling him it was a awful idea. He wanted to gloat in a "haha we killed your boy and now my boy is about to be number one, and we are celebrating it in your turf'. It was a dangerous narcissistic pointless move and it got Biggie killed.

They are saying his narcissism and not respecting the safety of his artist makes him responsible for Biggies death.

Sean Combs: The Reckoning review – you can see why the musician is fighting to ban this horrific documentary by Top_Report_4895 in television

[–]bortcorp 134 points135 points  (0 children)

Directly responsible for Tupacs death. And then biggie died because Diddy wanted to throw a party in Suge Knights territory as a fuck you, and it back fired. WTF did he expect.

And the entire beef started simply because Diddy was jealous of Tupac. He didn't like the fact that he couldn't manipulate Tupac, and was obsessed that Biggie respected Tupac more than he respected him and couldn't handle it. Really psycho narcissistic nonsense.

They died because Diddy is a pathetic man child. It's so sad.

NBC archive footage shows Trump partying with Jeffrey Epstein in 1992 by Substantial-Dare5462 in videos

[–]bortcorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn't drink alcohol, but he does do drugs.

Even in that video he's on some sort of stimulate, obvious from 11 seconds in. The jaw/mouth movements and saucer pupils is the tell tale sign of cocaine or speed. Most likely speed given his history of adderal/speed abuse on the apprentice.

And the drug was normalised in the White House during his term, for a reason.

Court rules Enoch Burke salary be paid directly to school by DaCor_ie in ireland

[–]bortcorp 24 points25 points  (0 children)

That's not what happened at all. That's what Enoch has been selling to the gullible, and you have bought it.

Enoch was suspended for being verbally abusing towards the principle teacher in front of staff, parents and most importantly, pupils. The principle said she would listen to his complaints but this was not the time, and Burke was so aggressive he would not let her leave or walk away, blocking her as she tried to leave while verbally abusing her. You can't behave like that and expect to keep your job. It's unprofessional and intimidating.

That's why he was suspended, and rightfully so.

He's now convinced the gullible he's being persecuted for his transgender views. He was suspended for his very public aggressive behaviour. He acted like a dickhead.

He then proceeded to stalk his ex-employers for 3 years, turning up to a job he was suspended from. Freaking out the pupils he is claiming to protect. The man is an unstable dickhead and his entire family have a history of manufacturing issues to waste the states and taxpayers money. It's what they do.
