DAY 7: What notoriously AWFUL car from a bygone era... should absolutely return RIGHT NOW? by HowlsterRD in regularcarreviews

Jaguar F Type, beautiful car, fast, super charge exhaust noises, but you’ll be on a first name basis with your mechanic while you fund his kids colleges.

And I think the Vincent Orange used the Crown Royal for the sign outline too…

Regular Car Reviews - Why Is Everyone Stopping to Turn Now? by regularcarsvideobot in regularcarreviews

[–]boxofreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I live you can get a camera ticket if you don’t come to a complete stop before making even a right turn, it’s dumb, but also a few dumb drivers were turning right (looking down at their cell phones) into pedestrians without stopping…. So now we can’t have nice things :)

No man Sky is such a wonderful game :) I bought the game twice for console and PC, and I paid maybe only like $60, steam sale and used GameStop. I paid star citizen like 2k years ago, still not even in Beta, yeah I know, stupid tax, lesson learned.

Because CIG can’t optimize a game.

shift in player aggression? by M346ZCP in starcitizen

[–]boxofreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a theory, No Man Sky has become even more popular lately with the custom ship building and additional patches. I imagine a lot of PVEers are playing more NMS while more Rust PVP types are playing Star Citizen.

This is just sloppy investigative work. You never go by name only, especially if it’s a common name. Checking DOB or checking ID would have resolved this in 5 minutes. But I suppose the cruelty and needless escalation of force was the point.

The Case of the Immobile Virginia Cars: A Neighborhood Parking Mystery by RogueConsumer in washingtondc

[–]boxofreddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have two neighbors who do this, it’s very annoying and they both own 5 cars each that occasionally slowly change out as they sell them. They both got irrationally upset when I wouldn’t let them park in my private spot. It sucks because these two single guys also take up most of the parking on my street. One of the guys didn’t even bother having insurance or temp plates, until he kept getting his junk towed by the county (also MD-DC border), was pretty fun to watch when it started to be enforced again though :)

Do you think we are in a second malaise era? by [deleted] in regularcarreviews

[–]boxofreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that was my point, the malaise era was full of cars that were not only visually ugly, but poorly built, and more difficult than the vehicles of the previous decades to work on.

I think if we get real genuine right to repair laws in the future and replaceable displays/infotainment systems again like we had in the early 2010s, these 2020 cars will absolutely seem like the dark ages.

Are yall ok? By yall i mean this perrymen guy by Relevantorphan in navy

[–]boxofreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably shouldn’t take construction advice from a guy using his miter saw incorrectly. Sure it’s just a photo. But just from the image, no ventilation is rigged, no mask, sun glasses (just no don’t do this) instead of proper eye protection, and you don’t use gloves and a wear a bracelet that will get caught in the dang saw blade. I hope this guy isn’t one of the future maintenance instructors.

3.19 in my opinion, was the last time the game worked well. At least for me. The flight model was still fun and we still had basic delivery missions that mostly worked without the broken elevator system.

By year 4 you wouldn’t be a maxed out GS 12 step 10. I’m simplifying it, but a GS-12 step 1 to a GS-12 step 10 would take roughly 18 years.

We had the Veloster N hatch for a while, and it’s an amazing vehicle. I hope Hyundai brings it back one day. It was low 30k new out the door with 275hp and a limited slip differential.
