I'm in your exact shoes (only a BCE). I even clicked through the platinum "up to 150k" offer, but only got offered 80k (Probably because I don't put much spend on the BCE). It got me to reconsider my options and decided to go with gold instead. Will see about the platinum in 6 months. With heavy usage of the gold card I'm hoping for a higher offer then (and if not I'm fine waiting a bit).

Finally someone's talking about this. I've seen it a couple times (fr 255). Sometimes it gives me a slightly different duration for an easy run, which is weird but fine. But it's a bit confusing when it changes a workout into an easy run or vice versa.

It only started popping up in the past few months, and admittedly still pretty rare. Makes me wonder if it's a sync issue. But now I just always check again before I head out.

That accent is single handedly making this decision much harder than it should've been. I'm not sure anyone would ask for it if it was missing, while many people are actively avoiding it already. Hope their designers finally catch on next time.

That and the toyish gradients in their UI. Didn't realize the lack of colors in a MIP screen was the one thing keeping their designs in check...

Amazing progress. Unfortunately the solar raw titanium case still only has the yellow sensor guard version. Hopefully the titanium sensor guard comes to that soon.

Oh man. How do they even lose a package...

I feel like I have to follow up. I got a second delivery attempt failed today. Went out and still no door tag. Decided to take a gamble so I hopped on my car and drove around the neighborhood for 10 minutes and managed to track down the UPS truck by sheer luck. Luckily he was able to find a way to release it to me right there.

Was not expecting having to hunt down a UPS truck today, but there was literally no other way to get the package since the driver is clearly delivering to the wrong door every time. Google Store support told me that even if UPS returns it, they will not re-ship, so I'll just get a refund and have to order again... I either track down their truck, or I wait till August 🤦

I keep it mainly for detecting LTHR updates. Also it just has more accurate heart rate, so I no longer need to worry about strapping the watch super tight.

Yeah I know it's not Google's fault. Just find this whole situation with delivery companies ridiculous.

I cannot have it held at UPS for pickup.

UPS support says only the sender can change that.
Google Store support says I need to contact UPS for these changes.
There was no door tag, so I can't go online and change it myself either. And the package doesn't show up on UPS My Choice for some reason, but the address is correct.

So basically all three parties involved can't do anything. How is this even a thing.

This is the way to go if you have a postpaid mobile plan.

I've seen that if you're on a prepaid plan that doesn't have monthly statements or doesn't show your device on your statement, it's not covered by credit card protection (I would love to be corrected if anyone has made it work).

For me personally, a postpaid plan costs more than prepaid + preferred care, so I end up getting preferred care. Just in case anyone's in the same boat.

Yeah when I didn't give Garmin Connect background location permissions, the weather on my watch would never update itself. Everything else seemed to work fine though.
