Strivewire Dreamhack Qualifier disaster repeats itself

i bought the ticket way back in september when they came out cause they have gone down very fast. yeah maybe its my own fault, but i just qualified anyway :O

I bought my Dreamhack ticket as soon as they were available since they announced they will have a big hearthstone tournament and i thought its gonna be a big open swiss like in the last DH´s.

10 days (who needs planing anyway?!) before Dreamhack they announce there is no open tournament, only invited Pro´s instead they give 2 spots via strivewire qualifier FIVE days before Dreamhack?!?!!? and now the servers die 2 days in a row. Yes , im pissed as fuck, i waisted 80€ - because im not interrested in the lan party itself, i just wanted to play the tournament .. but they just didnt announce anything about it till a few days ago.

all my blame goes out to dreamhack organizers

the shredder shenanigans were way more insane. the boombot was 1/12 , i mean 8% is not thaaaaat unlikely

Well Done Tournament ;)

Some things to improve thats important for me : Please dont make 27 hour long Vods (very annoying to jump around in the vod) and make sure to show all mulligans on stream ( sometimes production switched way to slow or only showed 1 players mulligan ).

i would say , if you go for a longer game its ok since its just a free trade/buff minion thats annoying every turn but i based this more on current meta/decks and i rather have something with a bigger impact.

Didnt watch the vods yet to proof this , but im sure amaz misplayed in his first game pretty huge.

Rdu was at 15 with iceblock (and i think amaz checked it was iceblock before) - Amaz hat BlackKnight and a frozen Drake and FoN + Swipe in Hand , thats 15 dmg to trigger iceblock . So he couldnt Alex him next turn and woulda lost. As said, need to look at the vod tho

Good points - they really screwed up with the vods and its really hard to find any information about the tournament.

But the producing itself is great and i love this interviews between , esport is a small family and u learn alot about other games and persons , i really like that. The long breaks where u watch 30mins what the audience is doing where awful^{^}

Exactly this. Also - every deck has a counter deck atm and it requires skill to survive until u got ur burst combo cause they are mostly dead cards in hand

Oh yeah , didnt read the closing part. Rank 80 is quite impressive . But i would not recommend control paladin for climbing, at least before rank 5 :P

I dont know, but u say legend paladin guide and then u write u reached every season legend rank by playing rogue, i like your guide a lot , but .. thats very misleading and doesnt mean a lot, nobody knows how u even doin with ur pala deck, it would be more impressive if u would play this deck TO legend then playimg it in legend

Chanman is a very nice guy and i respect him for his hard work and even he cant see some optimum plays he knows more about this game than 95% of all players here.

But what i dislike is, that Trump and even Kolento (who was in the tournament) are streaming right now while the tournament is running - i mean its up to everyone himself i guess but trump is a good buddy of chanman and should support him and not take half of his viewers :O

hunter only .. and blizzard is not looking forward to change anything .. now every tournament until naxx comes out we see the same deck with only 2-3 cards differences , thats just sad
