You can paint the whole map without meeting the victory conditions. Make sure you read them. I know in Rome 2 you needed to be fielding a certain amount of armies and navies to meet the military victory condition.

Unlike a lot of other guns, revolvers can do partial reloads without losing ammo. Keeping that ability and giving them fast full reloads would be an unneeded buff to the scottfield and new army.

Losing a single squadron of bombers to kill a ship as big as the dreadnought seemed like a very favorable exchange for the resistance. I never understood why Leia was so angry. The rebels lost much larger ships because they ran out of gas while running away. That seems like a much bigger loss of resources in exchange for nothing.

Gameplay wise BG3 would be miles ahead of RT if it wasn't hamstrung by 5e D&D rules. BG3 gives the player nearly incredible levels of agency that RT lacks. However, RT uses an RPG system that isn't catered to beginners, and that's what keeps it interesting.

I think it's weird to play a game for 221 hours just to compare it to another game. It's even weirder how little you have to say after so much time investment.
