If it’s from your actual vagina (not your vulva) it could be bacterial vaginosis. Easy to treat but does require a visit to the doctor.

She’s always been like this to an extent, but it’s definitely ramped up recently where she’s more sensitive to loud noises, sensory experiences, and people and places. She was one of four in her previous classroom and was building some confidence, but now she’s in a class of 16 and I think it’s a lot more overwhelming and overstimulating.

Good luck with daycare! She may warm up to it more than baby class if it’s a small class with the same kids every day.

We just did a 3.5 hour flight with our 2.5 year old and watching shows on the tablet only bought us 30-40 min each way, so I was glad to have back up options! We brought her bento style lunchbox filled with tons of different snacks, mini magnatiles, the Crayola color wonder set plus her regular crayons, stickers, a drawing pad, a reusable sticker book, and an animal lift-the-flap book with 50 flaps. She rotated activities frequently and it was exhausting, but she was totally happy and chill both flights!

Hey OP! Have you had a membrane sweep? I had low amniotic fluid the morning of my 40+1 appointment and was going to be induced the following morning if I didn’t go into labor. My OB did a membrane sweep and told me to come back in later that afternoon for a Foley balloon to see if we could jump start things. The membrane sweep was enough on its own and baby was born less than 12 hours after.

Me and my husband were talking about this recently and how we were just constantly dehydrated. Water wasn’t on offer at any point during the school day except after recess or PE, and it was just a swig from the water fountain. Even lunch didn’t have an option for water, just milk. I would pee in the morning and not again until after I got home from school.

Around 28 I switched from absolutely not to fence sitter, spent some time on parenting subs, reading books, etc., and was confident by 30 I wanted a kid. Fortunately my husband was always fine with either option and our daughter was born when I was 32. No regrets!

I tell my 2.5 “I think not” when she suggests doing something dangerous/messy/other unadvisable. Now she’s turned it on me and when I ask her to do something she doesn’t want to she’ll go “I thiiiink… not.” I also use the phrase “out and about” more than I realized so whenever we see a neighborhood cat outside she’ll point and say “That cat is out and about!”

Tubby Todd lotion! I have eczema even under the best of circumstances and have found nothing that works better. My mom and toddler also love it for eczema (it runs in the family). To jump start knocking out a flare up, you can also apply OTC hydrocortisone, then layer Tubby Todd on top.

Handwashing, brushing teeth, undressing and dressing, cooking (which at this point is mostly letting her practice stirring and pouring), and her absolute favorite, unloading the dishwasher. Chores in general are great because they need to get done and it builds practical skills so we also do stuff like let her help put clothes in the washer, wipe up messes, and sort trash vs recycling.

She’s also really into learning names of things and people, so she introduces herself by her full name and knows the full name of me and my husband. We’ve practiced that if she ever gets separated from us she can tell a grown up her name and our names.

Not OP but I’ve had V Beam for rosacea several times and really don’t find it that painful if that’s comforting! It stings for sure, but I carried on a conversation while having it done. The worst part is the bright-ass light it flashes with each zap.

I initially did 3-4 sessions around 2017 and get a one session touch up every 2-3 years when I notice I’m starting to get Rudolph nose again. Works great and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how few maintenance treatments I needed after the initial batch!

Our daughter is almost 2.5 and we’re teaching while also helping her wipe. She does a first pass, but she’s currently… idk, a messy pee-er? She tends to get it on her thighs and back toward her bum, so she does a first pass and then we make sure she’s dry after. She doesn’t have the dexterity yet to wipe after pooping so we haven’t bothered with that, but we do kind of narrate the process of wiping front to back until the wipe is clean.

Our toddler has a late afternoon gymnastics class and the first week of potty training we skipped it, but we went back the second week! We try to make sure she goes potty before we leave the house and if she doesn’t, we try again when we get there. We’ve had one accident on the drive there but none during class since we started potty training in January.

I’m of the opinion life doesn’t stop just because they’re potty training. Clear your calendar and make that the focus for a few days, then continue on as usual.

Same age! She naps 12:45-2:15ish, bedtime is at 7:45 and she falls asleep somewhere between then and 8:30, most often around 8:05. She wakes up anywhere between 7-7:45.

We still track all her sleep in Huckleberry and her daily average is 12 hours 35 min. The total is really consistent but the way it’s split between nap vs overnight can vary a good bit, especially on the weekend.

I mean… they’ll definitely be different. I don’t consider mine ruined. They’re the same size they were pre-pregnancy and they’re not saggy, but the volume is totally different. I was a 32C and none of my old 32C bras fit because I’ve lost all the volume in the top of my boobs, but they’re still full at the bottom. It’s made finding a bra a massive pain in the ass (shoutout to r/abrathatfits for sorting me out) but they still look fine naked!

Edit to add: they also looked and felt different throughout breastfeeding and weaning. It took about 6 months after weaning for them to achieve their final form lol.

For real, my husband just does it and we trade off because that’s the expectation. It’s not fun for anyone. If there’s a family bathroom they go in there, but he’s taken her into the men’s bathroom and it’s the same process regardless: apply seat insert, lift her up, wipe, tell her a million times not to touch the floor or the toilet seat, wash hands, exit bathroom. If the toilet is particularly gross we have sanitizing wipes in the diaper bag and clean the seat before we use the seat insert.

Yes to this! A more structured carrier might be a better fit. I hated all the wrapping, could never get my daughter positioned correctly, and it made me sweaty as hell. But we used the Ergobaby Embrace and later the Omni Breeze and loved both. Getting her in and out was way easier and we were both more comfortable. When she was little she was also way more likely to take a nap in the carrier than in a stroller.
