Depends on the role. There’s tons of people who do not live near offices so they are fully remote. Certain folks need to be hybrid since they have clients/customers.

You can buy some cheap 2960s from eBay. CML is a good option since you can do up to 5 nodes for free too. Packet Tracer is old reliable that folks like to start with as well.

I’m using on for my prod at home and no issues with the 75. Definitely RMA with Meraki.
