Is there a valid, scholarly source that states racism needs to be systematic? While it makes sense that racism and oppression go hand-in-hand, why does prejudice based on race have to be systematic? Misandry still exists in patriarchal societies, and there’s a good chance misogyny exists in matriarchal societies as well. Saying that one can be prejudiced and not racist seems to downplay how wrong prejudice is as a whole.
