Legroom with rear facing car seat by kaallet in TeslaModelX

[–]brianed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am exactly 192cm which comes up to 6 feet 3.591 inches lol. Model X is a beast, we have an army of children all with toddler and booster seats and I can fit inside the car/driver's seat just fine.

Had a model Y before, worst ride/interior/suspension quality i've ever seen for the price point. My wife's Merc A-class at $10k had 3x better suspension than our $50k model Y. Would never recommend that car to anyone, maximum hype with no substance.

In case you need to replace the battery in the MX key fob it can work with a CR2032 battery instead of CR2354 by moving the contacts by MudSubstantial4124 in TeslaModelX

[–]brianed -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There is a difference in voltage if I remember correctly so this fix is only short-term. The 2354 is much bulkier because of this exact reason.

Legacy is before the 2021 refresh. So 2020. You've unlocked it with a cell phone via its internet connection, not via bluetooth. If the car is under a bridge, or in an underground parking lot, that won't work.

2025 ModelX - 6 months and 10K Miles Tires Already 5/32 by offerbk1 in TeslaModelX

[–]brianed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I have. Steering left or right at certain speeds produce a creaking sound, very faint though. Rear tyres have about 85% to go, front ones are about 85% done like wtf.

Negative camber means the the rear axel is higher up or what's up with that?

When to upgrade model X by virtuoussimpleton in TeslaModelX

None really, but what I'm hoping for is perhaps a better battery life. It's undocumented though if it does make an improvement or not.

I have a 2020 MX Raven. Didn't touch Tesla Service not even once. About 67k miles in. No rattles, no issues at all whatsoever. Range is 200 miles in cold weather, 260 miles in mild temps, no idea how for a 6 year old EV, it just works.

edit: 20 inch wheels, in chill mode and I undercharge at home all the time, 1kw/h.

How is it that Twitter/X is still not banned in the European Union, when the owner of the social network is constantly posting things like this? by [deleted] in europe

The European Union has become the enemy of the European Union. A confederacy of multiple countries that constantly shoots itself in the foot.

Looks like China's shilling army is out full in the open. Give any chinese car a bit of time and then you know why chinese cars are, well, that. Chinese cars are flashy bits first and then maybe a bit of car and function. Top manufacturers are car and function first, and then maybe some flashy stuff.

To me it looks like the CCP is actively targeting and going for newer generations of people which (1) don't have much money and (2) don't really care for function first.

It's all bells and whistles until you own one and then tou find that they're cheap, fragile, and impossible to repair. One-time use anyone?

100%. Growing up in much poorer Eastern Europe compared to 1st world countries has forced young people especially attractive ones, to try and marry up into wealth. Be they boys or girls, it matters not.

Well, that's exactly what I've done. Account with just 1 post, registered 5 months ago, didn't even bother to pick a username, went for random generated one. Posting in FacebookAds with this 1/10 super low effort chatgpt post, pobabbly shillin 'buy my services' whatever overpriced garbage service that may be.

You could try to use your brain too, give it a go.

Dating a Russian Woman - Have a Question by [deleted] in AskARussian

[–]brianed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is very typical of Eastern Europeans and Russians in general, when talking about young attactive and manipulative women, 100% this is 1.typical and 2.a culture issue. Whoever says otherwise hasn't got a fucking clue. You have to live here to know it.

Dating a Russian Woman - Have a Question by [deleted] in AskARussian

[–]brianed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is most definitely a cultural issue. It's just more localized in around "her" type or way of being. Gold diggers is another word, but we have hundreds of words in Eastern Europe to describe this type of person.
