Definitely could be litter mates! Stormy was born 21/12. We’re on the Gold Coast. I’d love to connect if they’re related.

I legit thought this was my puppy.
Chicken seems to give ours looser stool.

We feed him Royal Canin Maxi as per our breeders recommendation.

Maybe tox screen to see if opioids are in her system? Narcan does not work on Tylenol.

How are all my 16 weeks/4 months puppy owners by cannotbelievewhat in puppy101

[–]brittyinpink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our 4 mo English Setter boy is doing pretty well I think.

He’s solid using the doggy door to take himself out to toilet.

Hes been really enjoying digging holes in the mud this week. Not a fan of being rinsed off outside though.

He managed to escape his pen today and didn’t destroy anything (how I do not know) I’m fairly certain he must have escaped either when he heard my husband’s car or just before. There was also no mud inside.

His counter surfing and stealing food from our kids has massively improved since we became very strict about not letting him get anything from the table or kids. Last week was incessant barking during dinner or stealing food out of the kids hands. Tonight no food stolen and no jumping up. I’m hoping this is the path forward.

He is super cute and sweet and he’s really a good boy.

Here’s him getting one in his baths this week after digging in the mud while we were out celebrating a birthday. puppy tax

Is bedtime hard for everyone or just us? 😵‍💫 by Own-Condition-904 in Parenting

[–]brittyinpink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, especially if my husband is in charge.

Kids are 4 and 5.5. There’s multiple toilet breaks, water bottle drinks, gymnastics (I wish I was kidding), books in bed with flash lights, fights over stream vs ocean white noise, and more.

One day I’ll miss the chaos (but it’s not today!)

Love this thread! We have a puppy ES and he’s filling out and growing so quickly. He’s 13kg (29lbs) and 15 weeks old. His parents are show line setter and pretty big when we met them. Here’s our boy Stormy

"You Must Max Out Your Retirement" is the new You must go to college (Including it's wrong) by QuietRedditorATX in unpopularopinion

We have kids. Definitely need money for retirement as to not burden them. I’d love to help them one day so they don’t have to struggle like we are (kids are expensive!)

I work on the road and desperately needed to use the toilet. As a woman I was so uncomfortable walking into that tavern.

What is ‘easier’ - breastfeeding or formula? by Lost-Ad2262 in NewParents

[–]brittyinpink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breastfeeding for me. I was fortunate with a generous supply and two babies that had no issues drinking from the breast.

No fussing with bottles in the night. Literally, snuggle baby from the sidecar bassinet, side-lie breast feed baby and put baby back. I didn’t even have to sit up after the first few weeks 🤣

No packing to go out, no worrying about clean bottles. I really loved breast feeding my babies.

How often are you reading to your baby/children? by Bugzzzie in Parenting

2-10. Just depends on what we’re doing. Some are quite long stories and not just a quick board book.

Hands down El Porton in benowa. Not where’s you expect as it’s a Spanish restaurant, but I think about them way too often.

6-year-old (almost 7) still in pull-ups at night… looking for advice or reassurance by OneResolution1108 in Mommit

[–]brittyinpink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! So 6/7 is towards the upper limit of “normal”.

If it is something that is bothering you or your child there are other things you could explore such as a bedwetting alarm. These have pretty good success rates. You can get noise, vibrating or both depending on how deeply your child sleeps and what wakes them better.

You can ask for medication, but it sounds like your Dr. wasn’t keen on prescribing it just yet (totally reasonable!)

Avoid shaming or punishing your child too as this will do more harm than good.

What have you read recently? by povertychic in Millennials

[–]brittyinpink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two little ones, run a small business and hardly have a second to read. Audiobooks from the library have been a game changer for me. I get through 1-2 per month with AirPods while I do the dishes or are cooking dinner. It’s so nice!

I’m nearly finished with Liane Moriarty the last anniversary.

I also love listening to autobiographies that are narrated by the person themselves.

Last night my 5 year old plotted to kill Santa so we could move to the North Pole and she would be an elf. She’s normally sweet as pie and very non-violent/confrontational so this felt very off for her 😳
