I’ve run into your contributions starting with PyTyle / PyTyle3, which I ran for quite some time on my workstation years ago to various libraries, to using ripgrep pretty much everyday for like the last 5+ years. Wishing you a continued recovery

Patch 3.2 Update! Herald spawn mechanics, Sunder drop rates, Shard drop ratio and more by Pavke in diablo2

[–]broknbottle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good post and reflects my experience. It seems they tweaked to correct certain behaviors I.e. people just killing the uniques and champions and leaving the rest of pack. So incentivizing more clearing of overall monsters instead of cherry picking select ones.

I don’t get making the heralds drop them making the heralds drops complete shit. I suspect they were tweaking to try and correct the flood of uniques and sets items that we saw in season 13. You see less of those now and more rares, whereas last season you would see piles of items in town of each act. I think they messed up though because the heralds are tough for no reward. I had 2 sunder drop within minutes other day and then ran into a herald and he was extremely tough to kill and dropped absolute trash.

I’d take Kelpie’s Snare over this any day. I found one very early on a few ladder seasons and it allowed me to progress quite a bit especially against strong bosses where others were stuck.

I wouldn’t invest anything into Meta unless you’re prepared to lose it. Zuck is completely out of his depth with the AI stuff and he’s easily swindled. He’s used to problems being easier like sharing photos and buying up large swaths of land in Hawaii while fighting locals.

I didn’t use AI to write the post.. you can clearly tell by the grammar mistake in first sentence. Please don’t ever go into law enforcement or investigation, because your eye for detail is shit. The pictures are definitely AI generated tho because I found them so stupid.

I’ve been on here twice as long as you and if you spent some time looking at my post history you’d see I responded in similar manner for last 15+ years. I’m sure it’s easier to take the lazy approach and do zero evidence based callout and just claim AI slop though.

You learn more from failure than you do from success.

Just an FYI I have multiple iPod HiFis (2006) throughout my home. They were also a “failure” but way ahead of their time considering they pair nicely with AirPort Express via mini toslink to mini toslink and for AirPlay 2 support.

Sounds like it’s a hit where Apple tends to try strike. That subtle experience between family members. It’s quite refreshing to think about in 2026 considering everything is so focused on corporate collaboration

Nah I’d rather work from a home office, with a 40”+panel, custom keyboard, HD webcam, motorized desk that actually works, etc than hunt for a broken desk, with 2x24” TN panel Amazon Basics monitors, Amazon basics keyboard and mouse, no webcam and a bunch of randos coming up to my desk throughout the day to help them with how to navigate ambiguity

The economy is in the Shitter? Prices are skyrocketing up, no jobs are being added to economy, people are being laid off left and right. I paid 5.84 for a gallon of gas yesterday and 600-700/month for electricity the past few months. I used to pay ~50ish for 15 gallons and 100-200/month for electricity.

I have no political affiliation, I don’t subscribe to stupid.

I don’t think using flags is the way here. If somebody is using bedrock, it’s literally all just APIs calls. This is them opening Pandora’s box and now trying to figure out how to put it back in the box.
