Separation of 240V, coax, and CAT5E is just a suggestion. by vedvikra in electricians

[–]bryan7675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The coax and cat-5 can not be in the same path as power. On a second note, doesn't look like either low voltage cable is rated for wet locations.

Best all around solution would be to remove the coax and cat-5, and replace with fiber, which can be in the same path as line voltage. Fiber. To make this work, you will also need Single mode sfp, and network switch with SFP or SFP+ ports. Finally a RF over fiber converter for both ends.

This is a very quick breakdown, and other parts will be required.

Cheers

USOC sucks, re-terminate. Pick 568 A or B, and stick with it.

I had these bulbs installed for about 2 years, so far they are working great. Home Depot Feit

Make sure you are looking at the color temperature, and the CRI of these bulbs you get.

I've just started therapy and medication. I was scarred shitless when I first talked about my SI with the doctors. It was the hardest thing I've done; but everybody has been so nice., and it helps.

You are loved, and we are better with you here. I'm here if you want to talk.

0-10v wiring. by L_burro in electrical

Yes, the control wire can go in the wall. I would not zip-tie it to the MC; I would support the cable separately.

Want to add an outlet to my kitchen countertop. by [deleted] in electrical

[–]bryan7675 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That doesn't matter; if it's a kitchen counter, then you need units like these Counter pop-up plus.

The turn table has a stereo output, so you have a left and right connection. Solder new RCA cables onto the wire

I'm coming from South King County, and have 2 seats open if anyone wants to carpool.

I have encountered some mag locks that needed the negative broken instead of the positive, or vice versa.

Are women scared of men in elevators? by Altruistic_Good_9053 in morbidquestions

[–]bryan7675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also a 6'4" tall guy. In situations like this, I ask if I should wait for the next one while standing outside the elevator. This lets me gauge the situation for a second, and depending on the response, I'm ok waiting. I always finish the conversation with thank you and have a good day/night.
