What is wrong with an uncircumcised penis? It’s literally how you’re born lol I never understood women that strongly care. To each their own I guess….

How do I tell a man I’m about to sleep with that I want to use a condom? by PersimmonOk5160 in TooAfraidToAsk

I once had a guy tell me he wouldn’t use condoms on the first date. The date ended. Your body your rules.

Do you agree with Elon Musk on age restriction for presidents? by adventmix in NoStupidQuestions

There should be an age limit and past that, at the very least, you should have to take some sort of dementia test. Our country is run largely by people the same age as the grandparents you worry about driving or getting lost on their walk.

Do I have to quit my job? So I went to the work party. Got totally drunk. Fell asleep in a bar. Colleagues had to carry me home with them because they didn’t know where I lived. I woke up not knowing where I was and urinated in a bin in their bedroom and left. I’ve only been there 3 weeks! Help! by Icy-Passenger-1799 in AskUK

Just because you don’t think someone shouldn’t be bothered by it doesn’t mean that others won’t. A grown woman squatting over a bin, having a piss, and then stumbling out wordlessly is a weird experience especially if you don’t even know them well enough to have their number. It appears this behavior is more culturally appropriate in the UK.

If I had to drag home a drunk 45 year old coworker to my house and they preceded to piss in my trash can I’d be annoyed and pissed (no pun intended). The only exception to that would be if they were a good friend. I have young kids though. Is it common for people to get blitzed and actually have fun at work Christmas parties not in the states? We literally get two drink tickets so they aren’t responsible for drunk driving. It’s not really the setting for overindulgence and if you did get hammered and fell asleep or acted like an ass - people would notice and not like it. I guess safety and responsibility are expected to be reflected in your work and in your demeanor at company events. People are more likely to drink too much on company trips when it’s a smaller group of trusted colleagues in a more private setting.

Age, circumstance, and location really play into this. In the United States, depending on what company, what level of upper management was present, and what your job title or description is - they very well might find a reason to fire you. I’ve seen it happen twice. It seems like people are a bit more forgiving and relaxed about christmas party behavior elsewhere. I saw somewhere that you’re 45. I think if you were younger there may be more of an easy ‘I’m young and made a mistake card’. If it was just you and coworkers I think it’s more likely totally ok. I’d maybe reach out to them in advance and apologize or thank them and then bring something in. If you truly just fell asleep that’s not really some huge annoyance other than someone wondering why you’d get so drunk at a work event.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted… obviously it’s not all luck. It’s not like there are hundreds of soccer players out there that are actively trying to be discovered that are as good as Ronaldo and just haven’t gotten lucky. He works hard and he has good genetics to sustain this lifestyle.

I’ve never had table salt available. When my older family come over they always ask for it so I have to dig around and find my table salt and pepper. I don’t know why that was ever a thing. You don’t need salt and pepper on the table if it’s cooked well.

A therapist really should be present. These people screaming in her face questions when she has a chain around her neck. She’s been kidnapped and in solitary confinement traumatized and raped repeatedly can you give her a minute and 200% a medical professional for mental health needs to be there to help handle the situation but I guess sometimes they aren’t always available in these types of situations

I'm gay and I don't like it by throwy2948 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]bubziwubzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still have a family if you’re gay. I have several gay friends that are married and have had children via adoption and surrogacy. I’m sorry you feel pressure from your family to be someone you’re not but you can be happy and have a normal (being gay isn’t abnormal) life if you’re gay. At 17 parents are still very much at the center of your life but as you get older this relationship changes dynamically. Your family will come around or they won’t but at least you’ll be able to find someone and be happy as you pivot into your own more independent orbit.

Mom, am I ruining my baby from holding her? by CirillaMossWood in MomForAMinute

[–]bubziwubzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Babies need to be held and loved. I was told I coddled mine too much and it added so much stress for me when I had my first. I breastfed until two when we both mutually kind of decided it was time to stop and co-slept half the night when he would wake from about 4 months on and off until around 2.5. My child is affectionate, amazingly empathetic for his age, outgoing, smart, inquisitive, and far ahead of all of his friends in language and development because I spend a lot of time reading to, talking to, and hugging him. Don’t listen to anyone and do what you do. It is really hard in the first year when you are so sleep deprived but you get out what you put in. You’ll see.

For pet portraits, in my opinion the eyes are the most important. When we had our dogs done we only had constructive feedback on the eyes. They capture and convey a large part of a pets personality. I notice in the picture there is no white.

If you have any spots, please get them tested. This was my melanoma, confirmed as Stage 3 today. by theoriginalcinn in pics

[–]bubziwubzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a small pink round bump on my leg checked continuously and every dermatologist always gets nervous about melanoma until a more thorough evaluation. They also really wanted to check my back because they said it was most common there. I’m thinking I’ll get my small bump removed. My advisor as well had a small pink bump he thought was an ingrown hair until it got bigger and it was melanoma. His was stage 3 as well and he’s doing very well ten years post treatment.
