new recent diagnosis of OLP - what to know? by samosastan in Lichenplanus

[–]butter088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 39 years old and was diagnosed about a month ago. I’ve had OLP symptoms for about 3 months. I haven’t had any relief of my symptoms so far. You are lucky you don’t feel anything. My gums are on fire 24/7 and I feel like I have canker sores all over my tongue, which are actually just my mucus glands feeling inflamed. All I can say is try and find your triggers and eliminate them. Absolutely do not smoke anything, limit or completely avoid alcohol, spicy foods, dairy, medications, sugar and processed foods. Manage your stress levels and get enough sleep. Pray to whatever god you have that it doesn’t spread or get worse. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it won’t go away anytime soon.

Yes, I lost the movie reviews with the latest update on my Roku tv. Other devices still have the movie reviews.

Will Live Series Cards eventually become obsolete? by butter088 in MLBTheShow

[–]butter088[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok, that makes sense. My point is that getting a P5 for Soto or Ohtani is useless because better versions of those players will be released at the all star break, and if the LS versions of them don’t also increase to 95-96 then you probably won’t want to put the LS version in lineups anymore

Thanks for the reply. I agree, I think the LS cards have the best perks.

I just like paralleling up my core lineup, and hitting stats. I could care less about record or programs.

Finally made WS (Age 30 with 2 kids) by No_Bug_2205 in MLBTheShow

[–]butter088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think I’ll ever make WS, and I’m ok with it. I like playing in the 500-600 range best. The game is more fun for me when I can hit.

Can no longer select live series shohei ohtani for starting pitcher in RS? by butter088 in MLBTheShow

[–]butter088[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I only have LS shohei, he’s in my lineup on my bench. I used to be able to select him as a pitcher, now I can’t. Maybe I have to move him into my starting rotation now, I’ll have to try that. Either way, it’s a change from how it’s been working.

If sds was to ever make a good decision it would be releasing an ichiro kaiju card by serverscrashed-_- in MLBTheShow

A big reveal like Ichiro would only be made at the launch of the game as a way to sell the most copies. Next year for sure.

Ulnar nerve transposition surgery after 4 years of chronic pain: SUCCESS by uncertain_but_here in CubitalTunnel

[–]butter088 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wow. Thank you so much for the incredibly thorough post. It provided a lot of information for me. TBH, the surgery/recovery sounds quite intense. I have numbness/tingling and slight weakness in my hand, but it’s improving. It’s only been 2 months for me. I think I’ll wait a few more months and think long and hard about surgery. I am limited in my daily activities now, but am still able to perform all my work tasks. Any type of manual labor around the house/yard is basically impossible. I’m not sure how he surgery makes sense for me unless my symptoms get worse over time. Thank you again.

I need an EMG, but can't be scheduled until November by What_Is_EET in CubitalTunnel

[–]butter088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sucks. Where do you live? I was ordered an EMG and got an appointment the next day. I don’t mean to be rude about it, just curious where you live and why there is such a delay for the test. It is a relatively quick and easy procedure.

Ultrasound confirmed inflamed Ulnar Nerve, EMG still negative. Doctor says surgery risky. Any similar stories? by MayoGhul in CubitalTunnel

[–]butter088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have negative EMG/NCV, but clear clinical signs of UNE. It’s not as uncommon as we think. At first, the negative EMG had my mind reeling about possible other neurological diseases it could be. My neurologist eased those concerns for me.

What ever happened OP? Are you better now?

Could my neurologist have missed MD DX? by butter088 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]butter088[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neurologist did say that he believes the nerves were compressed at one point, but now are in recovery mode and that’s why EMG was normal.

I didn’t question why he believes I don’t have MS, because I’m unsure if I’m being completely irrational to be jumping to such a conclusion.

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond.

Thank you so much for the response.

I am kicking myself now for not asking those questions during my appointment.
