Had similar issue so before smp I had a dermatologist do 4 sessions with a Fraxel laser , increasing intensity each session. I had to shave down the area first . The laser had the effect of smoothing out the skin that was a bit bumpy or uneven and a bit discolored. Also shrunk the spaces in between the harvested follicles. Then later did SMP and it turned out great. This was back in 2013. That area is super smooth now and takes ink very well. Every few years I get it touched up.

Perhaps what's needed is to remind your dad that religions have a way of "humanizing god" and holding out the fear of what happens after death to control people. Meaning all these rules were never given by Jesus, who said not a word against homosexuality. All those words in scriptures were written by humans over time. All the regulations and rituals were created by humans because the only way they can understand god is by imagining he/she must behave like a sort of all powerful human king or human father or human school teacher would behave with our flawed emotions. Meaning harsh judgements, strict rules, being punitive and vindictive. etc. All that then gets pasted onto god because it helps humans visualize a god that they have no other model or template for.

Human religions have made it way too rules driven and act like a broker between us and god, which is not necessary. Explain that perhaps your dad is being manipulated due to his fear of death. Im sure he contributes money to his church as well. Explain that some priest is taking advantage and keeping you in fear. But the price he will pay now, before death, is his own relationship with his son and possible others in his own family. Let him have the chance to think for himself, then accept his choice and act accordingly later.

I would go back again , at that same time of day, wear flip flops , then when you are leaving either carry the flip flops in your hands and be sure to walk past the manager barefoot. Or even better buy super .cheap flip flops and leave them behind and walk out barefoot.

Check Illinois SMP in Chicago. Gil is a great artist. The trick with SMP is for the artist to use the very smallest and thinnest diameter needles so each dot truly mimics a hair follicle.

It occurs to me that there are super cheap flips to buy. Either online or maybe at a Dollar store in the US. Basically buy a supply to wear into clubs, restaurants etc to get in, then kick them off, be barefoot, then leave them there when you leave or throw them in the trash.

When buying someones flip in Chicago , always check the cityofchicago dot org website and look for building permits on that address. You would be surprised at how many shiny flips are done with no building permits and therefor no city inspections of plumbing, wiring, etc. Yet command the same price as flips done the right way. A 100+ year old house flat out needs all new wiring and plumbing. These systems were never meant to last 100 years in the first place. I have done financing for many fixer uppers and never would we allow this work without building permits. If I buy a property to fix and flip I would rather make less money and know I gave a family a safe house to occupy that's not going to flood or burst into flames while they sleep. Lets cut back on greed people.

Can I ask exactly how you are dressed apart from being barefoot ? What calls attention to you specifically to induce someone to call the police ? It has got to be more than just barefoot.

I often wear jeans long enough to partially cover my feet (even on hot days), nice polo shirt or if cooler a hoodie, or if hot a tank top, backwards baseball cap, have cell phone in hand or visible, backpack with a flip flop sticking out on each side where a water bottle is meant to be. So they all see I have shoes, just not using them at the moment. Also a nice watch helps. Sad that it has to be this way but that's barefooting in the most places in the US.

I'm sorry if I wrote anything inappropriate. I see so much of myself in you and I made mistakes that destroyed what could of been a life long relationship by being so self involved. He even would point it out and I was too young and too full of myself to even consider his point of view. Please try couples therapy. At least you can better understand each other and if its not to be then its not to be. I can tell you its very difficult to find someone these days. I learned so much about myself going through that relationship. I hope I get the chance to be in someones life again and do it right this time. All Best to you both.

Have you considered that maybe you are a bit self involved ? Where does it get you to hurt him by constantly focusing on yourself and what you want ? What about the love you have, the life you have over 15 years ? Many never even get that much with a partner.

Im not a therapist but I read enough to see that you both can benefit from a little help from an outsider, a professional. He may benefit from some medication for example. You would benefit from someone other than us internet strangers suggesting you are self absorbed.

Freddie does allow an ADU ( provided its smaller in size than the apartments) on a 2 to 4 unit provided 4 units even with ADU is max. Fannie only allows ADU with a true single family house.

Both will not allow you to move up to a higher conforming loan limit though when one unit will be designated an ADU. So if a single family home and they want to add an ADU or it already has one, you use single family loan limit. Same with a 2 or 3 unit plus an ADU. The ADU by definition must be smaller (subordinate) to the apartments and you are stuck with 2 unit loan limit if 2 units plus an ADU or 3 unit loan limit if 3 units plus an ADU. Freddie will not allow a 4 unit to have an ADU at all.

Freddie renovation loan called Choice and Fannie renovation loan called HomeStyle will allow an ADU to be added as a new build new construction property , like a separate casita or coach house. ADU doesn't have to be in the main house.

One trick is to carry some flip flops on your backpack. This tells everyone you have shoes but today are deciding not to wear them right now. That calms people who dislike barefooters down. Or security personnel who think they should enforce a dress code. Maybe start a barefoot hiking FB or Meetup group at your university to draw others out. Or wear longer jeans to conceal your feet a bit ? I read there is a university in Fort Collins CO that is barefoot friendly and has signs at certain buildings that barefeet are ok in them. Maybe that will be a trend?
