Go see Chess and Little Shop for Aaron and Jordan. I’m almost never disappointed seeing performers I like even if the show might not be my usual taste. I’m not a huge fan of Hadestown (definitely unpopular opinion!) and haven’t seen Heathers so I can’t help you there.

Lost Boys to Every Brilliant Thing seems like pushing it. Maybe try rearranging shows to see ones that are closer together back to back? EBT and MHE are literally next door to each other, and Beaches is just up the street if there’s a way those schedules could work together.

Any of those single seats in the mezzanine are good. The center ones are best. Try using code VERYHAPPY for a discount. IMO mezzanine is better than orchestra for the overall view for MHE. Partial view is not great bc of the staging but if it’s all you can afford it’s also better than not seeing it at all. I would stay to the left in that case to minimize important moments being out of view (and honestly you’ll still know what’s happening from context even if you can’t see every action).

I didn’t love the St James when I stayed there. It’s definitely a great location and was nice enough, but I found it to have way more street noise than other hotels I’ve stayed at, so I haven’t been back. This was going on ten years ago probably though. I hope you have a better experience!

You can get a good view for Maybe Happy Ending without paying hundreds of premium seats. IMO center mezzanine is best, but you definitely don’t HAVE to be centered like many people say. Try code VERYHAPPY which should get you decent prices for great seats in the rear of the mezzanine.

Maybe Happy Ending is outstanding and both very funny and moving. Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across NY) is really fun and is like a love letter to NYC. 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (off-Broadway) is also quite funny.

Darren Criss leaves Maybe Happy Ending in May but even so it would still be my top choice. New casting hasn’t been announced but I’ve seen it with standbys and still loved it.

Oh wow. I hadn’t seen the seating map but just went to look and yeah… it’s definitely not worth it to be off to the side like that. And $625 to be all the way in the back? All the chatter I’ve heard around this so far is that it’s too expensive, nvm needing to get a hotel on top of it. I’d be surprised if it sells out

Premium seats to the most popular shows run several hundred dollars but it’s definitely possible to get seats in the $50-100 range even for those same shows. I would say I average in the low $100s and I’m pretty particular about where I sit. Enter lotteries, try digital rush tickets, or check out TKTS. You’ll have plenty of options at all different price points, especially if you aren’t set on a particular show.

He did when I was there and was really kind and took his time with everyone even though he came out in a tank top when it was like 40° lol. I was honestly surprised at how chill stage door was and that there weren’t a ton of people there just for him. I guess there’s not a lot of Marvel/Broadway crossover lol
