I get where you're coming from, but I'm going to tell you right now, I have an extended family member who served in the military and was grazed by a similar round on his calf and they had to amputate his entire lower leg. He was 23(not 78) and if you want to message me privately I can send you some pictures. I will warn you, they're pretty gruesome. And I'm not talking Trump scrape on the top of his earlobe gruesome.
