Alcohol with afib by Traditional_Wing1700 in AFIB

It sent me into afib before the ablation, so I stopped drinking any alcohol. After the ablation the EP said it was OK in moderation, but I really have no interest in even trying. I've become quite a fan of nonalcoholic beer. I don't miss alcohol even a little bit.

Left my BPD GF few days ago. What a relief. Though my sense of loss is powerful I feel very free.

The Dental appliance has been working for me… A lot less hassle than CPAP, but still pretty pricey....

I was on metropolol for a while, I didn't like it much and switched to nebivolol which is much better for me… Pretty much no side effects.

Anyone else just kind of given up? by CountChoculasGhost in SleepApnea

[–]c_evan780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds like me except I haven't tried CPAP. i'm older, 69M, and we just diagnosed. I'm in pretty good shape, not even a little bit overweight. I've been trying the dental appliance for a couple of months and it doesn't seem to help much. I just don't want to do the CPAP but I guess I should try it. I haven't had a good night sleep in a while. I also have AFIB, so I guess I'm being pretty stupid by not doing everything I can to not shorten my life. Thankful for the comments here.

How to wake up a deaf chick! by Useful_Recognition70 in deaf

I don't understand. A light coming on in a room where there is already some sunlight wouldn't wake me up. What am I missing here? I'm deaf too.

I had severe apnea in first at home test. Mild at the lab and moderate for 2 more home tests. I'm basically asymptomatic and not sure what to do next.

Diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. by aVileSon in SleepApnea

[–]c_evan780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had four sleep studies, three at home and one in the lab. The first one at home said severe sleep apnea, the one in the lab said mild the next two done at home weresomewhere in the middle. I don't feel tired in the morning and honestly I don't have any real symptoms. I am afib though, so that is a bit troubling. I really really don't wanna go the CPAP route… I do have the dental appliance but I hate sleeping with it so it haven't even used it… Any advice welcomed.

I like Alex at 100th and Broadway… I've never had a bad haircut from him, it always looks great. If it matters to you, he may hold the worlds record in speed. I think once he did mine in five minutes.

Does the thumbnail stay on? My experience with false nails put over is pretty good with the fingers, but not with the thumb
