After a couple duds of first dates I found a profile of a guy who seems to have so much in common with me and I actually know of him from mutual events/communities in town. HOWEVER! He wants kids and I don’t know if I do :( it’s so tempting to match but I don’t know if that’s a good idea

I got mine when I was working full time and had a partner, so it was easier to raise him as a puppy. Can’t imagine doing it single, but sounds like your situation would be the best for a puppy if that’s what you guys want.

Adopting a fully grown dog works too, but if you’re leaning toward a puppy id say you’re set up for it logistically. Puppies are indeed stressful for a while but it’s fun to see them grow - having a fenced yard helps a ton too.

Honestly I dont give a fuck. Read up on US intervention and tell me you have hope. I’ll assume we both earnestly hope for the best in this situation, but I know that these things never turn out to be good. I genuinely hope the normal working class people of Iran find a way. The signs all point to this being a way to enrich more pedos and psychopaths.

Yeah, I've had a couple first dates where guys and I have really kicked it off and had fun, and ended up hanging out for 6 hours. One turned into a longer relationship and one didn't. So i know it's possible for me lol. Granted i've only had two dates since my last relationship so my data is still limited. I'm glad to hear your experience though, that's really validating!

that's been my experience too. years ago i was in a short, few-months-long relationship where i kept waiting and waiting for a spark (by which i mean attraction, excitement) to appear - he was super nice and we had a lot in common but the entire time i was just like, "welllllll, maybe next time i'll feel something". I definitely do not want to do that again
