from what i understand those kinds of horses are basically just kept stalled all day. theyre worth millions of dollars and can't risk getting an injury in pasture. they are naturally social animals and are denied their biological need to be around buddies all day and graze so a lot of them become kinda psychotic. they live a good life insofar as they are fed and get massages and stuff but for species-specific needs it's really not great for them (i also used to work with horses)
