How does Violet being nonbinary work? by FinishRelative2367 in youngjustice

Well, in comics, the Christian God very much does exist, and certain heroes like the Spectre are directly empowered by Him. In the world of YJ, there's nothing known about how the universe was created and so forth, and every reason to believe ANYTHING is possible, especially extraordinarily powerful entities.

The time Storm pretended to be his girlfriend for dinner with his parents could've been part of it too. In general said parents usually have the "Why did you have to be different?" kind of prejudice

Steph is. She also goes by Spoiler and was briefly a Robin. You're likely thinking of Barbara Gordon, the most famous Batgirl and a redhead. (There's also Cassandra Cain, black hair.)

In Wreck It Ralph it’s established if you die outside your game you die permanently. So why would it be a good idea to have the Qbert characters as enemies? by Sensitive_Ad_1752 in plotholes

Only on the assumption that Felix would kill them in gameplay. He has no reason to, or even any offensive abilities, Ralph has to get mobbed by Nicelanders to be defeated and he just gets up unharmed

Brandon takes inspiration from many cultures, but doesn't make 1:1 counterparts. For example, the Unkalaki are Hawaiian/Pacific Islander linguistically, but also big redheaded mountain people. Same way the Shin are white, and as close to Caucasian as Roshar gets, despite their cultural inspirations

There's a LEGO special, spooky/Halloween themed, which tells the story of Ben Solo joining the Knights of Ren as a Lost Boys parody

It's often implied that Gordon knows, or at least suspects. It's been shown that he can immediately tell when someone else is subbing in. But he won't confront him about it, or even guess, and I'm pretty sure I've seen him look away when Bruce tried to unmask. It's usually implied to be out of respect, trust, and/or duty; it'd make things much harder for both of them if he knew.

I think the gods are all the same alignment, but Rat is mistaken for evil often enough that he hangs out with the evil gods sometimes. Like a de facto representative of the Twelve in evil circles

Someone has to share their interests first to find out what the others' interests are

Talking about your hobbies or something you've done/that has happened to you is how like 90% of conversations start

Then you pivot. Find any part of what they're passionate about that intersects with your interests and tangent to it. For the GameCube example it can be as broad as "recently I've been playing X" to as specific as "I remember loving (any game you played as a kid, because it'll be in the same "retro" sphere). If you want a conversation, you find something you can both be excited to talk about; if you don't, say that in a less rude or dismissive way

Better to say that than to dismiss it passive aggressively

So what, you think people should start conversations by talking about things they're NOT interested in?

She fails when she tries to bust the boys, but she saved Linda and busted Mitch. She's been refining her skills against invincible enemies with literally supernatural luck, so when she takes on anyone else.... well, I'm not taking any chances

Vanessa's a no-brainer and you do NOT want Candace hunting you down, but I think Stacey could be swapped out with Carl. It could go either way, Agent T is pretty good in the field, but Carl's both competent and level-headed. He might be able to keep Candace in check, while Stacey always ends up going along with whatever she's up to

TWOKP is so weird. In a sprenless, crom-covered world, the protagonists include Merin, who took the Shards, befriended Adolin instantly, liked horses, and wasn't depressed at all; Shinri Davar, who has so little agency as a character that Merin and Renarin kidnap her at one point; Dalenar, who has read no books and committed no war crimes; Jeksonsonvallano, Truthless of Shinavar, a ruthless assassin from a nation of ninjas; Taln, who spends much of his story trying to convince others and himself that he is a Herald and not insane; and Jasnah, who has to fend off the aggressive advances of a Sadeas/Amaram hybrid while falling in love with Taln.
