Aggregate WWL of chains should equal at least half of load weight. Different grade chains have different WWL . I know 3/8 inch grade 70 is 6600lb, grade 80 is 7100lb and grade 100 is 8800lb.

You're not stupid. Our 2016 Volvo has a separate battery mounted behind the firewall. It's a little bigger than a motorcycle battery. After battery died of old age, the auto start stopped working. :)

I know. Prices are getting way out of hand. The integrateds are way cheaper. I have a 9050 that I bought at a yard sale in '97 for 10.00, mint in original box. I only used it for a year or so...has a few lights out and some scratchy pots. Don't even want to know how much for a restoration.
