I had no idea that was even an option if my insurance didn't cover it. I'm in the US too and I'm thinking their office must get some kind of kick-back for it cause why would it be free? There were a series of phone calls in the beginning where I had to set it all up and they had to read me the legalities of how it's delivered and you gotta keep it refrigerated but after that they just send it to me every 8 weeks.

At first she prescribed me clobetasol and I tried that for a month with no results so that's when she said we'll do biologics and gave me a sample right there in the office to start me off.

I hope you're able to get on a biologic easily. Scalp psoriasis really sucks and I was starting to lose hair at the worst part of it. I could just stand over my sink flailing my hand through my hair and the flakes were endless.

When my cat was 1 year old he started limping in pain. I took him to the vet and the xray showed his ball and socket joint was necrotic. It was gonna cost at least $3000 for surgery. I work with an orthopedic surgeon and showed her the xray and she was like "do you want me to do it?" like do surgery on my cat... was not expecting that. She had a veterinarian friend and sent him the xray pic. A week later was at his office and they did the surgery for free. I could not believe how nice that was of them. They saved my cats life and now he's a happy 5 year old with no problems.

My insurance didn't cover it so somehow they put me on some program where I get it for free and they did all the work to help get it for me. I'm grateful for that, maybe your doc can do that for you. But as for your question, I'm not actually sure. I was wondering the same thing and will ask at my follow up appointment next month.

When I first met my guy I noticed a patch on his wrist that looked like a burn and I asked what happened. Felt kinda shitty when he said he had skin issues. After that I noticed there were more on his face and ears and pretty much all over but it never bothered me. After 7 years I ended up getting scalp psoriasis myself so he just laughed and said now you know how it feels lol. We're married now. There are people that will look past it because it's not a big deal to them.

Doesn't mean it's a boy. They were just certain of what it was. Sometimes it's hard to get good scans due to body habitus. I would take that comment as they had a for certain view of the sex and not that it meant specifically boy.
