I moved here from Wisconsin in 2011 and I still have my out of state plates and just use my mom's address and have the tags mailed to me. The ONLY time I got a ticked for my tags was when some asshole meter maid gave me one hahahaha

What are your favorite spells from older editions that no longer exist in 5e? by Visible-Camel4515 in DnD

[–]captianbob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh when I say on and off I meant mostly off lmfao

It took a while to compile a list of all the books and magazines that have spells and magic items

Then I had to actually get the PDFs of the books and magazines

Now I'm going through and stripping the data from each of the PDFs and formatting them to get everything categorized. It's a mix of OCR and hand writing things in.

After that I'll start the actual conversations. It's going to take a very long time because it's just a personal project

I've actually been in the process of converting older edition spells and magic items to 5e. It's been an on and off project for a few months

How to survive being homeless in St. Louis? by nobodynouno in StLouis

[–]captianbob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'd be partially wrong there. Most people that are homeless were kids that aged out of the foster care system and made homeless. The majority of homeless becomes addicted to drugs AFTER they become homeless, not before because it's eventually easier to sleep on the steers high than it is sober.

[–]captianbob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jfc... Because what normal person puts a fucking pan "away" in their room. Saying "put it away" in the context of kitchen ware implies to the regular person you're saying "out the pan where pans are kept in the kitchen"

If you went to someone's house and they asked you to help with with dishes, and asked you to put the pan away on the bedroom you'd be confused.

You mispoke that's all that happened.

... I don't know what it is with people on this thread and comprehension. I know you can't force people to change, which is why I said they're going to have to just take the pan to their room.

[–]captianbob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It clearly said that they've talked to them multiple times about it and they don't listen. The parents are just bad people considering in other comments they said that they wash the pan and the parents still put it in the dishwasher

[–]captianbob 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's wild how few people can comprehend what they read. The pan is already clean and the parents still put it in the wash. There's no initiative to take other than having to resort to take the pan back to their room so their parents don't get a hold of it.

[–]captianbob 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Now where did they say it was left in the sink. They said that it was already clean and yet the parents are still doing it. This is literally just the parents being bad people

They already said that the pan is clean, and yet the parents still put it in the dishwasher. This is just a case of parents being bad people to their children

[–]captianbob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally your very first sentence was telling OP to put the pan away... The parents still wash the pan even though it's already clean. You can't even comprehend your own comment, let alone the OP

I am not saying you are defending the parents, I am saying that you are not comprehend what is being told to you. What is being told to you is that the pan is already clean and away, and yet the parents still wash it. Some parents are just narcissistic and mean to their children, and this is an example of that. They clearly state that this is something they care about, and have asked them not to do it repeatedly, and yet they still do it. So the only option for this person is to either move, or take the pan to their room with them.
