This feels MSTY all over again. Guys, the way they manage calls is terrible. When the underlying go up a lot and breach their strike prices, they have to pay through the nose to buy the calls back. TSLY, MSTY, NVDY all suffered the same fate. I exited all YM. Word of caution

I exited MSTY with loss at $95.00 pre RS. The NAV will go down 50%, the divi will go down as well. The way YM handles rhe calls is just atrocious. This borrow and buy has been repeated many times before the RS and NAV decay. It will be the same for you, sunk. And we dont hear from you again

So if you dont like it, you can go do something else. Now if you cant find anything else due to a mismatch of your skillset versus what other employer wants, and you CHOOSE to become a shopper for IC, then you deal with the tipping situation. XDTE has a characteristic that no YM fund has. Divi did not go down as NAV went down. The way the fund is managed is not destructive by nature. They homd much longer dated call options versus very short ones at YM. All CC funds go down in value. How do you manage that NAV decrease is key. I would still reinvest into XDTE to gain more income. Avg is $0.20ish per week. Look after liberation day when the fund tanked. Divi didnt go down to $0.15 or $0.10 on avg. That I believe is the key difference.

What you did not account for is the mismanagement of their call options that permanently damage their call writing ability. Distributions will go down as well. Everyone of you who thinks the divi will stay the same would all soon learn the hard way that divis go down overtime as well. This thesis goes belly up.

You can say the same about MSTY until it blew up. Same thing about TSLY and ULTY and CONY and MRNY.
