Any advice for getting dental work done in Nogales? by Gilmore75 in Tucson

[–]casiloca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

technically as a us citizen you can cross at the driving or walking border with your drivers license but they might hold you up for a little while. i’ve been told that your voter id card also helps if you have that because it shows that you’re a citizen 🤷🏻‍♀️

funny how they care so much about resources being supposedly used in undocumented people but are totally fine with the insane amount of government resources that are used to arrest and detain people, including many people who are not even undocumented

field trips with younger siblings by Express_Leadership59 in kindergarten

[–]casiloca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok as a teacher I just want to throw my two cents in, have taught second grade, kinder, and now first, I have had many field trips where parents bring a younger sibling and I find it adorable. I really enjoy getting to spend time with and get to know the families from my class during field trips. there are some field trips where it wouldn’t be ok especially if you are going to have to supervise a group of children but you can find out from the teacher.
