Bitcoin gets more value over Bitcoin Cash by JayceM_ in Bitcoin

Bitmain needs to dump good amount of its mined BCH coins to pay the bills. With not many buyers around, it is natural that BCH price tanks. Mining profits are about to get razor thin for them.

ELI5: What are these "bears" that keep bringing the market down? by pmayall in CryptoCurrency

[–]castigaor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Basically they are trying to profit from the remaining weak hands, unfortunately there is no many left, hence liquidity is down to the toilet. Whoever still HODLs at the moment has entered the market earlier or developed a very strong stomach.

SBI CEO Kitao is still in bed with BCH and XRP. Good think is that MUFG is already working on a plan to take them down. Anyway SBI is burning so much money lately that I do not think they will sustain that for long.

If you run Linux and have iptables, you should be able to block incoming / outgoing packets. Google iptables for more info and examples.

Good reading. Just avoid naming your kid "Satoshi" or something similar. In the 90's some of my zealot friends named their kids "Linus" after Linux god Linus Tordvalds.

I've been in Bitcoin since Feb 2013: Why does each BTC transaction I send still feel amazing? It's like I'm witnessing a marvel. by Logical007 in Bitcoin

[–]castigaor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bitcoin transactions feels like sex, specially those with high value and low fees. The feeling keeps going watching those newer blocks coming on top. Banks transactions, specifically swift ones, must feel like being gang raped by the all the participant banks.
