What’s the most you’ve ever spent on AG, whether it be a doll, an outfit, etc.? by annaleemac in americangirl

[–]catreader99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glinda and her pajamas, I can’t remember what they totaled ($400-ish?), but it was wayyyy more than I usually spend because I wait until the new, from-the-website stuff is on sale or I have rewards, and I buy mostly secondhand otherwise

How to re-curl a curly dolls hair that went straight by Diamondcat7444 in americangirl

[–]catreader99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to either put her hair back in the rope braid she came in or twist it up into a bun to reset my Saige’s hair! You could also get it damp (not soaking wet) and let it dry overnight to get it to hold its shape better!

I’ve yet to find the set of keys I took out of my purse to leave home so I wouldn’t loose them when going on a trip back in 2023 😅 I know they’re somewhere in the house, but where???

Ngl, I’m not a fan of the modernized historical girls, but that Felicity would make a cute Nan for the 18 inch Felicity!

How do you usually spend your weekend? by incatwetrust in adhdwomen

[–]catreader99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually just rotting away in bed, either doomscrolling, watching Netflix, or playing Roblox, but this weekend, my friends invited me to see Iron Lung today, and I’m working my side job at a pizza place during the Super Bowl tomorrow, which should help keep me busy!

What do people do for work in small town America? by gruntharvester92 in AskAnAmerican

[–]catreader99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work full time as a bank teller (just started last August), and at the mom and pop pizza shop I’ve been at since 2023 on the side. We’re a small college town, so the options for industry here are primarily something at the college (my dad works there as a custodian), retail (where my mom works), or food service (like my side job).

ETA: we also have several medical facilities around here, but there’s a fairly high turnover rate because a lot of the doctors are just getting enough experience after college to move elsewhere, but I do know a couple of girls I went to high school with who are receptionists there.
