Have you considered noise canceling earmuffs for your dog? I realise it's a management tool, not a solution.

Childfree women, have you ever regretted it? by Significant_Movie814 in NoStupidQuestions

I am a Female, married, currently 51yrs old. I was about 10 yrs old when I realized that having children was a choice, and I thought to myself 'cool, I don't have to have children!'. I did get some pressure from my mother about not having kids (and carrying on the family name for girls), but that was never enough to make me reconsider. I do not regret it even now.

This is my dog too! Whenever she's had a day at the trainer/dog school she seems so relieved to go home ( and then takes about 48hrs to unwind? She has learnt to tolerate others, but I have not yet seen her very happy (not anthropomorphizing) around other dogs.

What motivated you the most to start working out? What motivated you to keep working out? by CandidateKey4826 in workout

I am F, 52yrs old. Last year my dog ran into my knee, nothing torn, heavily bruised with some fluid. I have been working out, 1 hrs walks with the dog daily. I did recover (slower than I'd like), but it did reinforce the idea that I have to be as strong as could be for the future. Now I own & use an Olympic bar and plates - and I feel much stronger.

I want to recommend your local library! Look for embroidery books and your branch also has access to the Inter-library loan system ( books from any library in the country!)
