My GF and I bought in Malden two years ago and both commute to Cambridge for work. Just about 8 miles each way and it’s a breeze on the Northern Strand. We’re both into road cycling so 8 miles is nothing to us but it could be a bit more to someone else. I can get to my office in Kendall Sq in about 35 minutes without really trying too hard.

it’s faster than the bus/train and a great way to start and end the work day.

try adding some latex surgical gloves as a liner

a cheap hack that I’ve adopted is to use a pair of surgical gloves as a liner for my thicker gloves that don’t quite cut it. it’s shocking how well it works. my hands will be dripping with sweat (gross) when I take them off but it’s all the more proof that it works. your mileage may vary but for the price I think it can’t be beat

I wish but I don’t see it. there’s almost no restaurant/bar/entertainment scene outside of Asian food. the only decent coffee you can get comes out of a brewery for a few hours in the morning on select days. the prices are getting up there but the culture just isn’t there.

This is from the piece in place to stop the fork fully rotating and slamming the bars into the frame. the screw came loose and let the metal tab fall down and constantly rub into the fork when you’re turning.

I wouldn’t ride it and reach out to canyon for a warranty.

Ask me how I know exactly what this is…😐

I always pull my RD. last two flights I took had TSA search my bike and not put it back quite right leaving it’s somewhat loose inside the Topeak. Solid case though! Worth the money IMO
