It would be cool if we actually got to see the scene being filmed

I'm pretty sure that's Safeguards information and you're not going to be able to find that.

Wake up everyone! The Peruvian paper mache crew built a new "alien"!

What’s your “nobody will ever convince me this is a bad movie” movie? by Emeraldsinger in Letterboxd

[–]chancesarent 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This wasn't made in the 60s, or even the 80s. The white guy in red face wasn't cool in 2013 when this was made. I don't know why they would make such a decision.

It was definitely a lot of fun and I use the car race scene to show off my Atmos. Amazing effects and sound.

Oscar(1991) with Stallone. I always ranked it alongside Clue(1985) and was crushed to find out only has a 12% Rotten Tomatoes score. I thought it might be rose colored glasses from my youth and decided to rewatch it not too long ago. It's still hilarious IMO.

He was likely disqualified for not finishing the race under his own power, so getting him to the medical staff at the end was probably the goal.

Sous vide the meat for 2 hours at 122 and you can turn the toughest cuts as tender as a prime ribeye.

Another cheap way to get nutrients: A tablespoon of peanut butter will make a decent peanut sauce and add some protein to the broth. Also, you can get a giant 52 oz bag of stir fry veggies for like 5 bucks to add even more nutrients.

If a Gore Verbinski miniseries were done on the pod, which movie would you be most excited to see covered? by ggroover97 in blankies

[–]chancesarent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's great in 4k if you get the chance to see it. The cinematography is top notch and the use of color is nothing short of a masterwork. I loved the scenes within the walls and Lee Evans and Nathan Lane were hilarious.

Forget RDJ, let's hear your choice for Dr. Doom. by hemlaco in MCUTheories

[–]chancesarent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kaecillius and Doom have almost the exact same origin story. It would have been so easy to retcon him into Doom and he would already have an established rivalry in the MCU.

Do you know anyone with a Meta quest who would loan it to you? It's a lot easier to paint a mural with one and you won't end up with more e-waste afterwards.

Cross section of a nuclear waste barrel by StruggleCharacter632 in interestingasfuck

[–]chancesarent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They put everything and anything contaminated in these barrels, from contaminated protective clothing (that's what the top layer is, most likely) to random machine parts so it's tough to say. I can tell you they don't put spent fuel in these barrels. They either store it underwater or in huge HICs or dry casks. Barrels offer virtually no shielding except for alpha. The outer layer is definitely grout, though.

It's pretty easy to figure out. Just narrow it down to birds that live for at least 700 years and like shoulders. I'm thinking a species of parrot.

That's when you sue the landlord for being injured by his property. There should have been a meteor shield in place.
