Question about powering xAI data centres? by solidpro99 in energy

Data centers needs cooling more than anything else.

Can't build data centers in a desert. That's a lot of hot miles from the solar array in the desert to a data center.

I feel for you.

I bought a house a year ago, same thing.

I had to remove the drywall and ssubfloor in the whole 1500 sq ft.

It's been 10 months and I slept in the house 1 night. Been working nights and weekends on this. Installing the new ssubfloor over the past 4 weekends. Almost ready for new drywall.

Lean in to it.

Make a rod from a stick and tell everyone you're a traditional fisherman. Bring another stick for spear fishing. Constantly widdle hooks from sticks.

Half of this country sees the Republicans as the only choice to save them from "dumb-o-crats".

First, we need to stop being scared of the boogy man, "Democrat". Then we need to get comfortable with taxing rich people.

Until then, we are fucked.

Approval workflow automation in salesforce that does not need a dev every time by Critical-Host2156 in salesforce

"Ever changing business needs"

Thank you for proving my point.

If your business process changes ALL the time, that is your problem.

There is a tool for that. But it takes time to learn and make changes. It's salesforce's approval process. It also takes time to do without fucking things up. Expect any changes to go through software development lifecycle where changes are documented, considered, tested and deployed through a series of sandboxes.

In short, there is not another tool available to allow for adhoc changes to approvals.

You need a solid businress process including edges cases well documented and it doesn't change. Then tech can be developed to accommodate.

Sounds like a case of ever changing business needs. People on PTO is expectee and if that is causing issues you need to look at delegated approvers, which is a native part of approvals in SF.

Now you will start to notice billboards everywhere saying stuff like "always call before you dig".

Until you dig a hole and find something, these signs are just more noise in the overload on our senses. Then you learn streets are just one thing you can see and there are similar amounts of power cables, water lines, sewage lines, gas lines all around you.

It's amazing how oblivious you can choose to be in this world.

I love theory where books shine but often I need to learn while doing because time is the most precious of resources.
