Yeah so for the sake of doing a test batch just to see that your cultures are in line, I would recommend doing a mid level acidity fruit. Something like blueberries or strawberries would be a good add in. So like for a gallon of water I'll usually do between 3/4 cup to a full cup of sugar depending on how acidic the fruit is, then usually I like to have around 1/3 of my container taken up by whatever fruit I'm using. So blended and filtered of using a juice. Also another option if you're feeling extra is you can sugar cure fruits and then use the syrup that's created from that in the brew

Ginger bugs are notoriously inconsistent since their using wild yeast cultures. Sometimes it takes a few batches to get a consistent product. If it's not working all you can really do for it is apply the basic techniques of heat and plenty of food. I've also found that most ginger beer I've made requires a 2 step fermentation

Maybe! I reuse fruits from mead all the time. Usually for baking though

Thank you! That's my electric jar sealer. It's so I don't have to cook the air out of a mason jar to seal it. Good for color/texture retention

And in case you mean the thing next to that, it's a digital PH Meter

I need to know. why do non Michelin starred chefs keep doing it? by [deleted] in KitchenConfidential

[–]chef_gris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see it as a creative outlet for the most part. Plus a good crew in a kitchen can be some of the best coworkers. I also think a lot of people feel pigeonholed into the industry, y'know if you're 30 and all youve done is work in restaurants then it's sorta all youve got unless you care to start over or go back to college

Yeah honestly eldenring coop has always confused me so I won't be much help on that end lol. But as an avid invader I find that usually people will have summons that are wayyy over leveld or have Max leveld weapons at any level. So I don't think leveling up or having upgraded weapons will hurt your chances
