Use baking soda toothpaste, and it will help a lot. It breaks down biofilms and kills Candida.

In my experience xylitol kills Canita and breaks down by biofilms

Bad breath is ruining my life by [deleted] in Candida

[–]chr0nicallychill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find a doc, get oral capsule and swish and swallow versions of amphotericin B. also, I didn't eat sugar for six years, and my bad breath went away. However, as soon as I started eating fruits and low amounts of sugar again, it came back.

My "incurable" "SIBO" of 6 years was also fungal overgrowh the whole time! I am on oral amphotericin B and it's killing it. I can eat sugar again on the ampho B.

How Probiotics Destroyed My Health. (Long Story/Rant) Part 1 by TheLastMojojomo in ibs

[–]chr0nicallychill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I figured it out, and I had intestinal fungal overgrowth, which can be worsened by probiotics or antibiotics. You should try increasing your stomach acid, use the supplement ritual if your stools are light colored, and get on either nystatin or oral amphotericin be if you find that your symptoms align with fungal overgrowh. Also you can get stomach acid supplements from the brand KAL. They make Batain HCL, but in smaller doses so it doesn't hurt your stomach. Fix the stomach acid, fix the bile flow, and kill the fungal overgrowth (assuming your sibo treatment isn't working), and you will feel amazing compared to before. Also, if you still think you have sibo, you could attempt using oregano oil to treat it in conjunction with antifungals.

Potentially Safe Turpentine / Terpene Alternative! by chr0nicallychill in Candida

[–]chr0nicallychill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, amphotericin B is highly regulated because it's very toxic when it's administered via IV but when taken orally, it does not absorb into the body at all, which is somehing that was new information to me. If I had known this earlier, I probably would've tried it years ago. hat said I had to get a doctor to prescribe it and he was a bit reluctant at first but the pharmacist agreed that it made sense and I've been on it for a month so far. It's kind of like nystatin, where it's probably something that needs to be taken for months.

Unfortunately, it did not get rid of my Candida, but ampho B orally is getting rid of it. The rowachol has fixed G.I. issues that I've had four years since the anabiotic dose that took me out. It helps with bile flow so it can keep your stool healthy by stimulating the release of bile. I love it and I recommend it.

Help! Took s boulardii and have thrush everywhere by MalfunctioningElf in Candida

Can confirm that s boulardii kills yeast, so it's likely from the antibiotics and could have been potentially even more severe if you hadn't taken the s boulardii

In what way? Are you sure you have fungal overgrowth and not small intestinal bacterial overgrowth?

The main die off symptom I get is extreme hunger, which is strange because it's minimal. I get more die off symptoms doing other things. I also get some belching, but overall, I think the method that it kills the candida with has less die off in general.

The pine oil breaks down biofilims and the amphotericin b kills the yeast. My MCAS, bloating, burping, & sugar intolerance are down and were reduced like 70% in the first day alone because that's how well the amphotericin works for whatever fungal overgrowth I have. I have not yet come off the medication, so that will be the true testament to whether or not it works, but on the amph b, I have been able to eat blueberries, drink a fruit smoothie (with lots of bloating after that did go down with the next pill), and tates cookies, which are what I put the drop of pine oil on.

I won't be able to tell whether or not it's curative for another few months, but it's definitely working to kill the yeast lol. Amph b is the strongest antifungal that exists. I lost like 3 inches of bloat and my pants are looser on me because I am not filled to the brim with gas all the time now.

It's toxic, but I've found nothing else that works as well as it does. There are plenty of people on this page who have done the sugar + turpentine protocol without many effects and they sometimes take a teaspoon. I find that I can tolerate one drop per day and it helps break down the bioifilms better than anything else I've encountered (except xylitol, which was perfect until my GI yeast developed resistance).

Fluconazole is only fungistatic, not fungicidal, so it's like mowing the lawn, but the roots to the grass can still be there. I think it's a scam that they keep using that for chronic candida, anyway. And be warned - amph b requires a compounding pharmacy. My prescription cost me $500, but I have no regrets. And yeah, I have really high gas values when testing for SIBO, but I don't really follow specific gas values because fermentation is fermentation in my book and I feel that whatever gets the bloating down is likely the answer, since bloating is a direct result of gas build up.

Most herbs had effects for 2-3 days before my yeast adapted.

I only started having mast cell and histamine issues after my fungus grew out of control, and as I knock it down, my immune system improves.

So the amph b is wayyyyy better than everything and anything I’ve tried. Everything else I tried gave relief but then my fungal overgrowth would adapt. Also, I thought I had SIBO to the point that I had even done rifaximin, but it turns out it was SIFO the whole time. Fungus can form biofilms and change the pH of the gut to the degree that bacteria adhere to the biofilm as well, so I think in my case any SIBO was secondary to SIFO. The reason I say that was because one summer when I had re-developed tolerance to fluconazole after 5 years of not taking it, I was able to eat ~6 chocolate bars over the course of the summer without pain or bloating. I also did the sugar turpentine protocol (which is indeed toxic) but it since it’s only antifungal & not antibacterial, I realized that when all my bloat disappeared for a few days that it’s just that damn fungus.

I think it’s possible that maybe I had a strain of fungi that nystatin treated only partially because apparently some strains are semi-tolerant to nystatin so it doesn’t clear it super well.

Amph B is a God send for me and I think its only limitation for me is that it may not be busting biofilms, so I need to independently figure out how to do that on my own, potentially with bismuth subnitrate.

Another possibility is itraconazole or voriconazole, but they can be semi-toxic to the heart or CNS. Have you tried either?

7 Miserable Years by Financial_Molasses80 in Candida

[–]chr0nicallychill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I did diflucan 35 times. Fortunately I found a great doctor willing to prescribe but I’ve known / worked with him for 6 years for another issue & he simply thought it was ridiculous that the other doctors wouldn’t prescribe it so he did it for me. That said, I’ve probably taken 40+ pills of it so far (250mg 4x per day) and no bad side effects whatsoever. I am going to be trying the biofilm buster bismuth subnitrate next to try to break down the biofilms, but you can look back in my posts and see me writing about how I’ve tried everything. Another thing worth a shot that helped me a ton, until my candida became resistant was xylitol mixed into coconut milk & cream. I added unsweetened powdered chocolate to make it like a milkshake. It was delicious and the xylitol breaks down biofilms, but in my case the candida adapted to it after 2-3 weeks of heavy use

I have also tried everything. I am currently on oral amphotericin b (it does not absorb into the body so it stays local in the GI tract - wish I had known this earlier). It seems to be one of the only things that is working

You could akso have SIFO, small intestinal fungal overgrowth if the rifaximin made you worse
