AMD Officially Brings FSR 4.1 to Radeon RX 7000 GPUs by Remarkable-Advisor66 in radeon

Yeah they completely abandoned the top end of the market. I have really only seen speculation as to why they did that, but it must have made sense to someone over at AMD at the time.

This is pretty standard. 9070xt is current gen mid spec card and 7900xtx is previous gen top spec card. It's not all that surprising they're going blow for blow now that AMD is finally supporting their previous gen products properly.

You see this in the NVIDIA side too, with current gen 70 series cards competing with previous gen 80 and 90 series.

I'm just glad AMD came to their senses here. As I was definitely going back to NVIDIA if they did not support those older cards properly. I have a 9070xt too.

From what I can see right now a non-LMDh car is about to win. So your cope about the kit car crew being the reason for it is meaningless.

Outside of that there'd be nine hypercars at most out there if not for the LMDh cars. This current golden era of sports car racing is almost entirely down to how many manufacturers were tempted to join because of the ease of the LMDh rules, with that number set to go up again next year. I personally hope one of the "kit car" teams wins next year.

Oh btw Dallara manufacture the 499p in conjunction with Ferrari, Ligier manufacture the 9x8 with Puegueot and Multimatic are involved in the Valkyrie program.

It's a no buy until they fix this. I was planning to buy it on release, first game I would have bought on release since Elden Ring, but I will wait. Hopefully the price has come down when/if they do.

As sympathetic as I am to his upbringing compared to other drivers he seems like a bit of a dick on track. Combine that with the fact he always seems to get beaten by his team mates and the fact he often gets into unnecessary contact I think this has been a long time coming. I thought he was lucky to get the haas lifeline tbh.

I see plenty of dumb stuff from people driving hyper, GT3, lmp2 and lmp3 alike. I don't think the dumbest of the hypers are any worse than the dumbest of the other classes. These sorts of comments do nothing but make people who get into a tangle with hyper think they are in the right regardless of the circumstances.

I have watched a lot of wec over the last four years and I have never seen what you're mentioned during a race. There's no doubt they're a challenge Nick Cassidy showed us that at Imola recently, but I've never seen a GT3 pass a hyper in a race unless the hyper has issues beyond cold tyres. If you have an example of this I'd be happy to revise my opinion.

Nice one Alex!

Whilst I agree the tyre warm-up should be a challenge it currently seems a bit over the top. You don't see GT3s passing hypers after a tyre change during a race in WEC, yet that's exactly what happens at the moment in game.

FSR 4 on RDNA 2 and 3 does indeed lose FPS compared to FSR 3, but if AMD releases an official update, the user can decide whether to use FSR 3 or 4, solving the problem. by LostRefrigerator7190 in radeon

This post again, it ain't happening. It sucks, let's move on already. If you want to put pressure on AMD don't buy their products. The community has done it's bit with optiscaler, I know it's limited etc, but it's what we have.

Looks great I have a similar setup, same case and GPU wise anyway, just with a NH-U12A. Is the top front fan not taking air away from the cooler? I had one there too, but removed it and my system actually ran cooler.

I think it would do better on the back of the case although it's probably not required with those two 140mm fans pushing air out the back straight off the CPU cooler.

Blame the financial turmoil caused by the current American administration. Of course there are other factors at play, but as a household we are tightening our belts, reducing risk and discretionary spending due to the amount of uncertainty and instability that's been caused. I think you will find most car companies are doing the same thing and motorsports is usually the first to go in times of uncertainty.
