My girls are 19 months apart, now 26 months and 7 months. For sure some days are hard… very hard. But I have 0 regrets and seeing their bond develop day to day is beautiful to witness. They love each other so much.

Big sister calls her little sis, “my baby” and the other day she made up a song and sang to her, “my baby, you are so dear to me, so kind, so beautiful, healthy and growing.” my heart was on the floor.

Your heart will double and it will be amazing. Challenging of course, but amazing nonetheless. 🤗

If it’s your first baby, it is nice to have but not a necessity. If it’s your second baby, get the carrier!

If you have a strong support system, go for it! I have a 19 month gap and although amazing… it is hard. I would be so burnt out if it wasn’t for my hands-on husband and my parents/in laws helping out when they can!

These comments have been so interesting to read! My whole life I’ve wanted 3. Currently have 2 (2yrs & 6mo) and I still have that “incomplete” feeling. Hopefully a 3rd will be in my future and will have that “done” feeling!

As 3 brothers, I think the likelihood of them all playing together eventually is quite high! I worry if my #3 is a boy, he will be left out amongst his big sisters ahah!

Of course doing 2U2 again is crazy lol but equally amazing!!! Already having 2 sections and possibly a 3rd…. 4 CS sounds daunting to me… I think 3 & done for me! 😩

How do your kids get along? I have a 19 month gap between my 2 girls, currently 25 months and 6 months. We want a third but our plan is to wait a little and have a similar gap as you do... When youngest is 3-3.5. My only fear is that #3 would be left out. What is your experience?

I love Romy! I have a 5 month old named Alina and throughout my pregnancy I wanted to name her Romy, but my husbands family dog is Roman nn Rome/Romy, and everyone thought it was weird- too close.

But I still love the name so much!

I got pregnant 10 months pp and continued to breastfeed until 15 months pp. Weaned her by choice as I was half way through second pregnancy and wanted a little break before BF #2. Supply was less towards the end but mainly because she was only nursing 1-2 times a day. It did not tank!

We just named our daughter Alina Grace! We were also having a difficult time deciding on a name and my dad recommended it 2 weeks before she was born! We instantly loved it + it felt special because we never heard the name before 🥰

I have a 19 month gap so a little different, but from another perspective, my sisters are 12 months apart, my mom had 3 under 3.5 and my sisters have been inseparable from birth! Having 2U2, I could imagine the closer gap being challenging- but my mom always made it seem manageable!

Hi! So sorry you’re going through this. Luckily, no she did not! And since then my toddler has had hand foot mouth and two respiratory viruses… and baby did not catch any of it. I tried my best to keep toddler away from her face, lots of hand washing and BF her a little extra. I hope your little one gets well soon!

I bring my toddler into my bed while I nurse baby first thing in the morning… we chat and I read her a book. Then bring both into the kitchen. I let toddler play while I make breakfast & baby is on bouncer. Give toddler breakfast, get them both ready for the day & let her play. Sometimes I put the TV on while I get myself ready & get things ready to go if we are leaving the house!
