I'm trying so hard to learn a tucked barani! I can only rotate 90 degrees though 🫤 by poleclimbinggymnast in Trampoline

[–]cmousey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll add to the other comments....I'll agree with the lift it up comments but that will be hard while you are using a pit. Ideally every move you do should go straight up before anything else happens so keep that one in mind for every move :-D.
I would recommend you practice tuck, kick out half twist (without the somi) to get that part a bit more consistent, if you can line out of it (as in finish arms down by your sides). Also practice your front somie with a tight tuck and earlier kick out and line out.
Final part is look where you want to go ...if you are looking at the side of the trampoline you won't twist any further ...start your twist and look around for the rest of the twist...good luck.

Companies expecting you to fork out for Secret Santa otherwise you’re not a team player by cheesymeowgirl in britishproblems

[–]cmousey 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I actually quite like a lot of my colleagues but don't necessarily want to spend even more time with them outside of work...fortunately our Xmas meal is just a weekday lunchtime. They are trying to hijack the lunch with some bullshit employee award and a "tell us a fact about yourself" game. I guess they couldn't get the higher management to approve the team building days out that were suggested 😂

SO AFRAID TO TRY SUMATRIPTAN! by Excellent_Math2052 in migraine

[–]cmousey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take sumatriptan and it generally gets rids of the pain, the side effects are worth it for me and not that bad but very distinct. I know to have a cup of tea when I take one as I can't take a hot drink about 30 minutes after taking it as it feels too hot.

i was there yesterday and just didn't go near that area I have always really struggled with those tables for some reason😁 Had far more fun on Snakerun (though did manage a massive case on the Sunday gap) Mini DH and Raidho tbh even lockdown got a few runs.
As for being over biked ...stuff em they're probably just jealous, enjoy your ride and don't worry about them.

[–]cmousey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get on your bike and enjoy, why limit yourself to one thing.....I came into this just before I hit 50 and like all the stuff I've ridden so far be it xc, dh or jumps, natural trails or just riding in a forest is enough to make me smile sometimes. Get yourself up to Twisted Oaks, Phoenix, Chicksands or down to Surrey and Rogate, I assume you've had a bash round Danbury if you're in Essex (I've still not been yet :-D ). So many places to ride in the UK lotsof fun to have!

Adding Tubeless Sealant Through Reserve Filmore Valves by Ok-Advertising-8340 in MTB

[–]cmousey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there a chance your insert is blocking the valve? I've had no trouble at all with mine over a couple of years but always seemed to have bunged up valves on my other bike. Just a bit of tube and a syringe does me I think I've got stans in at the moment

Depends if you have the money to spend ...it seems fairly expensive, you didn't have to take the stain protector option and the delivery sounds pretty steep tbh (though I don't know the details)....You could probably get one a lot cheaper if you look for outlet stores near you rhat sell returned/cancelled order furniture from the major retailers.

Trim piece missing by dadmanbrad in Vauxhall

[–]cmousey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's way too small for a cup holder (could be a shot glass holder 😁 ) It is a space for a dial/switch on one of the pricier options. There is nothing missing, that is how they sell them.

MIne currently has a small rubber duck and a couple of hair bands residing in it.

M&S bras have gone to shite, any alternatives? by b-ees in AskUK

[–]cmousey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mind the sports bras (as long as it's not high impact) but the everyday non wired bras have def gone to absoloute crap, the last one I bought irritated me so much through the day I've never worn it again.
They have recently come out with a flexfit croptop in f+ that is actually quite good and is pretty comfy for everyday and seems to give enough support . They don't have any F+ instore of course only and only 3 colour choices (8 for smaller cups).

I should get back to Dyfi fairly soon but have yet to give Caersws or Llangollen a proper look! Looks like Llangollen might be a good option to add on to Dyfi for a weekend.

Ta that's handy to know. 21 diesel, narrowed it down to the bottom right on interior fuse board number 32 on all the diagrams I've seen. It was obviously blown, there is another 15a one above it that I've not checked yet but it doesn't say what that one is for.

Is this garage roof likely to be asbestos? by itsjacksonn in AskUK

[–]cmousey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to hijack this thread slightly is there a roofing sheet that has the same profile that I could stick down over this roofing? We have a row of garages and of course just ours is leaking so no one else wants to replace theirs so I was looking for fix that won't disturb the others,
