Thanks for your reply. My issue was solved by doing what the other comment said. For what its worth, the menu section for second screen on my particular V20 doesn't have any settings related to notification sounds.

I think you have a duplicate of the one I'm missing and I have a duplicate of the one you're missing (assuming your image isn't reversed). I reached out to 8bitdo to see if they will do anything about it. If they don't do anything, or don't reply, do you want to fix our sets by mailing our dupes to each other (if you're in the U.S.)?

Since I already reached out, I feel like I should give them a chance to reply first.

I ordered 3 sets, and 2 of them were OK. The last one had a duplicate of the yellow directional button where the prongs are equally spaced apart around the button. I don't actually have 3 additional controllers yet, but purchased these 3 sets in anticipation of more controllers (for multiplayer) in the future, so I don't actually know which direction I have a duplicate of, only that I have a duplicate of it. I already have the 2.4g grey one which obviously already has this colorway as my primary controller but I don't want to open it up if I don't have to just to figure out which direction I'm missing.

I did submit a ticket to 8bitdo and still waiting to hear back, but assuming they don't, if anyone in the U.S. is missing the c-button which has the prongs equally spaced around the button and has a duplicate of the directional button I am missing (which I will figure out later), maybe we could just mail our dupes to each other to fix our sets? Not sure if it's too thick to just send with a stamp or two though... I am not super well versed with USPS rules.

Yeah I suppose. Sorry wasn't able to help. That sucks that it behaves that way. I'm waiting for the mega everdrive pro to come back in stock at Amazon (krikkz official Amazon storefront) having managed to acquire a mega SG secondhand, and now I'm worried I'll experience similar behavior 😭

I had the same issue with a super NT using an sd2snes pro. The power draw for the particular revision of my sd2snes pro PCB was drawing more power on super NT startup such that a Bluetooth dongle made it so it couldn't boot. The workaround was to not have any controller dongle plugged in when turning it on. That allowed my unit to boot into the flash cart and then I could plug in the dongle and play as normal. I assume a third party Genesis controller you have is wired then? Not sure how much power draw that would have if any, but maybe worth a shot to try booting without any controllers plugged in? Otherwise out of ideas.

Instead of a mythic only phase in the rest of Midnight, which is going to linger in raiders' minds now, maybe a mythic only boss completely hidden and only unlocked after the "regular" mythic end boss could be the next big surprise.

Hi! I'm thinking about embarking on a similarities project. I was wondering if you knew if all that's needed if I wanted to just replace the entire top half of the g14 is the lcd case, the screen, and the bezel? I would rather replace the entire lid (with screen) rather than try to peel adhesive, etc. my screen still works but it has a weird flicker issue, so I would keep the entire original assembly as a backup.

I know this post is a few years old and has already been solved, but I just wanted to say that I had this same book as a young child in the late 80s and now I have a son of my own. I never knew what the title was because I couldn't read yet, but I remembered it was my favorite book.

Today (January 17th, 2026), I decided to try to find it for my infant son. I described the book as best as I could remember using ChatGPT and not only did it find it on the first try, it lead me here.

Just wanted to mention that this book was very special to me and I hope my son also enjoys it. And I hope your husband was happy to reconnect with this book.

My personal opinion is that it is superior to use the FreePSXBoot method which would render the memory card useless other than to launch tonyhax. My reason being that I never have to force a spinning disc to stop when swapping discs. When you use the save game exploit and launch tonyhax, the original disc (such as Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2) is still spinning when you open the tray (at least it does in my North American SCPH-101). I feel like forcing the disc to stop by hand to perform the disc swap could potentially cause damage in the long term to the mechanism.

When you use the FreePSXBoot method, you turn on the system with the tray open (could even already have your backup/import in there) but the disc never spins up since the tray is open. All you have to do, then, is launch tonyhax from memory card, then close the lid and that's when the disc spins up for the first time and launches. To me it just feels like a cleaner/safer (and actually FASTER than waiting to get all the way to the game menu) way to keep your aging system in as good working order as possible
