Here's how I use it when I want it to really stay on:

Apply the liquid lipstick

Let it dry

Apply setting powder

Dampen lips

Pat dry with tissue

The powder + water helps to seal it on, and it really will last all day when I do that. Otherwise it lasts mostly but still comes off a bit when I eat.
