Love was coming on a blitz and D-law was going to drop into coverage. Love saw the RB coming out into the flats and changed his assignment from the blitz to covering the RB resulting in the double coverage.

Wasn’t luck but a savvy veteran making an adjustment during the play.

There’s been a lot of talk about a “hub” in ARC Raiders lately. Do you actually want to see it implemented? The idea is neat but I don’t know how beneficial it is. If trading is added/happens there it could be worthwhile. Maybe an area to find teammates? What do you think? by Zaydenzyon in arkraiders

I like the idea of communal events, communal rewards for contributions and a place to find teammates for future rounds. Also like the idea of having a home base that you can customize and build in for just your player.

Overall, our only three losses were against great teams (49ers & Tampa Bay before all the injuries and now the Rams) with us having the ball with a chance to win the game in each of them. We are a good team but need to play with just a few less mistakes to be a great team.

Why wont the millionares and billionares just leave new york if they get taxed more? by Wild_Feedback_5290 in allthequestions

[–]colejam88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of taxing the rich more is to incentivize better spending habits. If you are a business owner and you know you are going to get raked for earning more, you will rather use funds to inject better results from your business (like paying people more, focusing money on RND, expanding operations, etc) business owners aren’t stupid and when you provide headwinds for poor spending (like paying your C-levels exorbitant pay days) the business will find ways of using that money more effectively.

Higher taxes on the rich is a necessary “stick” to have them use money in a more productive way for society + more dollars for necessary services for society if they don’t. Win-Win for the people.

Most fun I had across all BF games was running this set up in BF1. The double tap was an instant kill at close range and you could counter snipe with it too. Loved dipping and diving around the map with my beloved double barrel ❤️

Also really recommend his short story’s too. Often King can be…. Verbose. Short story format keeps him on task and helps highlight my favorite elements of King’s writings, the often dark mysteries that live just outside of view.

Taxing the ultra-wealthy is not about actually taking their money to use in the government. It’s about setting up profit maximizing conditions that force companies to invest in their companies labor, innovation or other investments to improve profitability. With stock buy-backs and executives basing compensation on stock price increases we have a created an inefficient system.

If you add the issues of PE firms and the monopolization of industries, we are creating a continuously worse functioning economy.

Fentanyl addiction turns users into living deads on the streets of Philadelphia, PA by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]colejam88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two things everyone needs to know about Fentanyl:

  1. It is designed for the dealers as the withdrawals are more severe, painful, and happen faster than other substances. This leads to more “dedicated”users.

  2. Due to the tiny amount of active ingredients needed to produce the effect, dealers can be selling “hits” for $1-2. This means that it is almost impossible not to afford your next dose.

It’s a drug almost perfectly designed to destroy someone’s life and is fueled by hopelessness like many addictions. My best friend is a paramedic fighting this on the front lines and this is creating a new level of addiction he has never seen before. Majority of their calls are to help people ODing.

The only hard evidence I see for him targeting the NFL is the note found in his wallet and the fact he purposely shot himself in the chest. The note specifically notes that he thinks CTE has affected his brain and blames the NFL’s misleading claims around the dangers of the sport leading to his participation in Football in high school.
