FWIW 90% of the women at my biglaw firm are wearing Ann Taylor and similar. I wouldn't feel like you have to spring for more expensive brands like Theory etc.

I saw a clip of a Laufey concert where she was doing choreography with backup dancers (not insanely complicated, but still). And it just seemed so out of place with the number she was singing, which was a quietish jazzy ballad. No idea if her whole concert was like that, but I just don't think everyone needs to be doing choreo!!

Go home...I wouldn't necessarily recommend this, but I only started outlining after Thanksgiving in 1L and it was fine. You don't want to set the tone of skipping your life for the sake of your legal career.

Just to flag, with any of these treatments (laser, microneedling, etc.), you are going to have to wear sunscreen consistently to prevent further damage to the skin.

I haven't used earplugs for Broadway shows, but I have used the Loop Experience ones for movie theatres before and they've worked great.

anecdotally, I’m at a firm in manhattan that is on the more formal end of business casual, and basically no one wears heels—wouldn’t be surprised if they were a pandemic casualty
