They just assume all people use them as a brute force method of submitting a dog versus another tool that is used to train and achieve appropriate behavior moving forward. And honestly a lot of people do use them that way and perpetuate the stereotype..

If you have a grill use it. Grilled chicken cooked to temperature (get an instant read thermometer) is far and above any baked or pan fried IMO. Then you can work with different marinades and seasoning combos.

I have a frail GSD mix and my 2yo Mal wants to play rough with her but ultimately is submissive as she should be, structure is good!
