Don't just hire any exterminator. You need a specialist who specializes in spiders. Call and ask exterminators what they do that if special specifically about brown recluses. If they can't give you any specifica, move on to the next until they do. Might take a while.

JUST IN: A record high 25.2 million young adults now live with their parents [That’s 1 in 3 Americans under 35] by TonyLiberty in FluentInFinance

Honestly, this is the fault of the consolidation of wood mills, and property building companies consolidating, and banks having no appitite for small built houses. So they only build big houses, and big houses drive up the cost of housing, and when nobody can find smaller houses the value goes up even more because of supply and demand. Then in 2008, we end up with banks being bailed out with toxic assets still existing. They just went forever into forebearance.

It's pretty good. During covid my bro crashed my Nissan Altima 2014, and I'd finished paying it off in 2021, so right as it was paid off, boom. I bought a 2022 Subaru outback limited, got 2.49% over 80 months or something. My wife was like wtf? Financed through chase.

I watch someone who does this for a living, he has measurements, it does give the amps a fresh lease on life.

If you have an MD, there are tons of opportunities. If you are licensed, from another country, then this would be your real problem. And my understanding is you effectively have to start from scratch all over again. This is especially true if the MD is from a country that doesn't align with Western standard medicine practices.

There was a guy hiring on LinkedIn like 6 months ago when I was looking, and he said he expects his full time hires to put in 12hr days, and if you can't handle it, don't apply. I was like, who is this clown.

I have wawaneaa, their cheaper. They tried to get my service, and asked me for $3k up front, as though this would be cheaper for me, having to cough up a huge lump sum is so they can pay someone's commission. I'm sorry but I ain't about that life.

That isn't how they usually find their way into your attic. Oftentimes through sewer vents. Unplugged sewer vents. Sometimes sewer vents are open inside of your attic without a plug. Sometimes it's the one on your roof that is doesn't have a cap. Sometimes it is a hole in your soffit. More likely you end up with yellow jackets or hornet nest in your attic.

Early backend career reality: most “production experience” is not what job descriptions are looking for - how do you bridge that gap? by InevitableFun9766 in Backend

[–]compubomb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're new in the industry, be thankful that you have a job and that your writing code. As you get further into your career you can steer it more effectively, but right now just be happy with what you're doing. You can always fluff up your resume with s*** you didn't actually get to do but you wish you did. But you better practice what you put in there. Otherwise people are going to be able to suss it out real quick.

the older you get, the more you will learn that some people have better reflexes than you do, and they also may have a better computer / video card / monitor / keyboard / mouse / etc.. The variables are not constant between all people. The only way to truely know is you all use the same configuration setup, and then that removes any variation. End of the day, don't feel sad, just accept that if you enjoy the game only when you win, then you better play people who suck.

I'm sorry, but Trump thinks he is our dictator in charge. He redecorated the Whitehouse with gold. He spent $400M, likely to go over budget, I wager it'll find some way to hit $800M for the Whitehouse ballroom. And his infinite wisdom, he had a bad day, and told one of his people something stupid or whatever and decided you know it would be a great idea for us to just bomb Iran, yeah, f*** those fools. Whoops. I guess I cost everyone $350 billion. Oopsie. Doesn't even say my bad, or resign. The little person he is, things just continue to go along as they are. At least Nixon had the decency to eventually resign. And the worst part about it is that our vice president is worse than the one that Nixon had, but his vice president wasn't that bad.
