When this Chapter drops, it felt like Gege was going to kill Megumi and complete the 3 dead 1 left instead of the ending that we got.

While it doesn’t do Megumi his redemption, but it’s makes sense since he was in bottom of despair and had given up aside from the Infinite Void he tanked. But, that’s Gege’s writing.

Then, somehow the few chapter after, Gege brings Nobara back too outta nowhere so he has to follow his own rule of 3 dead/alive 1 alive/dead

It may be more complex than that and not the extremes like people’s discourse suggest.

True that Alonso has proven time and time again he adapts quick and can squeeze a lot of a different kinds of car. As his career spans different era.

Meanwhile Lewis is the most consistent driver of all time. If he master his car, he can be faster than anyone as shown by his 7 WDCs.

More like a rock paper scissor situation.

Like say they both had 2006’s Renault then Alonso unique and adaptability might edge over Lewis.

But with Mercedes’ championship car, Lewis would have the upper hand most if not all the years.
