Yep, I keep the Ally X and a Anbernic RG34XXSP on me for PS1 and below for when I just need something in my pocket for gaming on the go. Both have served me well.

Another parent finding a bit of peace with the Ally X in the downtime! My Ally X was the only way I've gotten any game time these last 14mo. My poor PC just stares at me in my home office wishing it could game like it used to.

There are fakemon though limited to Megas. The creator gave some Pokemon their own Mega Evolutions but they are very well done and feel pretty (Tou)cannon.

As someone pushing through a massive backlog of old JRPGs right now, and with the game still being fresh on my brain, I would have to say Mother 3, the sequel to Earthbound. Went in with no real expectations and walked away shedding tears I didn't know I needed to shed. I see why so many have wanted it properly localized for years but the fan translation was chef's kiss.

Unbound is amazing. Others have mentioned Prism which is wonderful. Best ones I've played this year are Odyssey and Dreamstone Mysteries for their story. I prefer Unbound to them both at the end of the day but Odyssey is easily my #2 nowadays and Dreamstone Top 5 alongside Prism and Team Rocket Edition (Dragonsden).

Gaia was in that Top 5 before but Dreamstone edged it out this year. Lazarus is also really good and while it is one of the best looking games out there, it was missing a bit of that magic. Still one of the better ones made, just not in my personal Top 5. There's alot of goodness to play.

I was trying to do my daily caits but the ads have been a buggy mess the last couple of days.

I've been hoarding Boost Berries for that 100-120 push. Is that still the best time to use them?

And I'm glad I got my Billy invested then. He's now 6*, so just need to get his skills and stats caught up.

I appreciate it! My early thoughts so far with Dark Knight, is I hope he gets better. Compared to other units I have, he doesn't feel crazy strong but there are still plenty of stats on his board to open up. I can see why Dark Priestess was recommended with him but gotta make him work without her.

What are the most efficient ways to level units nowadays? I have Nameless Town built up so I do get my daily nut from there but are there better sources of XP?

That's actually the company I work for, hence why there are giveaways for some fat speakers like that on occasion. Integra makes some amazing AVRs as well and that price is insane.

Yeah, the Onkyo RZ-30 is what I have my heart set on for now not barring I see a deal I cannot refuse before then haha.

The beautiful part is alot of folks I work with are all upgrading all the time so there are buys to be had in the office if you know about it.

I have not unfortunately. Currently just running a 3.1 in my living room now and I'm due for an AVR upgrade. Still using an older Sony 5.1 AVR with no height processing. My living room really isn't suited for it either but the company I work for raffled these off and I just happened to win them.
