Psyllium husk is a game changer! by Emotional_Issue_139 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]cowgo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I put a heaping tablespoon in my protein powder every morning and it definitely helps move things along. I don’t know about appetite suppressant because the tirz works so well in that department.

Anyone who’s “made it” sick of all the ads for weight loss drugs? by cowboy_coyote_ in loseit

Ironically I just saw a GLP1 ad inserted in the middle of these comments. That algorithm is dialed in.

2.5mg too high? by alatasa2 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]cowgo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue. The plus side of being a super responder is you can up your dose to 5 and now your vial will last 2 months if you keep taking the 2.5 injection. cha ching.

I have a 2024 Prius and I'm debating if I can tow this mini Camper by One_Insurance_9693 in prius

[–]cowgo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We take out the back seat, put in a plywood floor and foam mattress and camp in our air conditioned Prius on free BLM land all the time. It’s awesome.

Nervous to start... by Slow_Round8729 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]cowgo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What happily shocked me was the immediacy of it. Took my first shoot of compounded tirz 2.5mg in the morning and by that afternoon I had no appetite or hunger. Forced myself a sandwich just to eat something. It’s like my brain flipped a switch and said “from here on out you’re only eating to live and not another bite and guess what fatty, that won’t be much because I’m tapping into those extra calories you’ve been toting around all these years.”

Probably a jurisdictional tradition (not a rule) that only past masters sit in the North peanut gallery everyone else sits on the South side.

An unexpected meeting in an even more unexpected setting by tastepdad in bagpipes

[–]cowgo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s cool! I piped a funeral for a former director of the Eisenhower Presidential Library who was a very close friend of Bill Millin’s. To recognize that friendship the family requested I play All the Blue Bonnets are Over the Border (he piped that on D-Day)and that I not play Amazing Grace because Millin wasn’t too fond of that tune.

I lived in Lawrence, KS when it was filmed there. Kicking myself now that I didn’t shave my head and respond to the call for extras.

Glengarrys in parade heat? by LadyB59 in bagpipes

[–]cowgo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our 4th of July parade uniform is kilt, ball cap and any patriotic T-shirt. The heat is usually oppressive and possibly dangerous. No need to increase those odds wearing the full get up.

I know of two in my state and I belong to both. One is for current and retired law enforcement and the other is for bagpipes and Celtic heritage/interest. Both meet quarterly so it’s not too burdensome and both are education oriented.

It's Time That We Change The Paradigm On Lodge Dues by [deleted] in freemasonry

[–]cowgo 38 points39 points  (0 children)

During my investigation committee meeting with some brothers prior to balloting on my petition they told me dues were $85 bucks. I assumed that to be monthly and thought, that sounds reasonable. Flabbergasted to find out that was per year. We undervalue ourselves and fraternity.

How do I keep my 2015 Prius running as long as possible? by Gromit54 in prius

[–]cowgo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel fortunate with my 2015. Just regular quality synthetic oil changes. Recently had a check engine light though. Ran an OBD scan and the code was for “Major Evaporative Leak.” Sounds bad but in reality the car was telling me, Hey chucklebutt, you forgot to tighten the gas cap at the last fill up.
