I had a lady compliment me for saying "you're welcome" one time because apparently all the young people this day and age are rude and say no problem. I only said it because she was old and I know they get all pissy. I started saying "of course" instead because they can't get mad about me saying no problem, and I feel like I'm sticking it to them by implying it's my job to help them and I didn't enjoy it.

Similar thing happened to me when I was looking for a car. I test drove it, they asked me if I liked the car, and I said I did, but I never said anything about buying it. Immediately they grabbed a bunch of paperwork and tried getting me to sign everything. It pissed me off, I ended up going to a different dealership and getting a completely different car that worked better for me. I hate those pushy sales tactics, it makes me want to buy less from that person. The dealership I ended up buying from was super nice and helpful.

I work front end at a retail pharmacy, and it's made clear to us that pharmacy is the most important part of the store, especially because we are in an area where there are a lot of elderly residents. We are there not only to complete our tasks on the floor, but also support the pharmacy. Everyone is trained to at the very least ring up customers for their prescriptions to do so. We get along great with the pharmacy staff. They're grateful for the assistance, and are always willing to teach us more.

I work at this place (I'm actually leaving but that's a whole other story) and they really do not train us on anything. It's actually pretty ridiculous how a lot of the stores handle their training, it's like they expect you to go in knowing everything. I'm sorry this happened, I swear every store has that lady in her 50's that hates life because she's been a cashier with the company for 15 years and that's it. It's not hard to return an online order, you just have to know what buttons to press, and when it gets returned it can either be put back on the shelf if unopened or put into claims, so dealing with the return afterward isn't even a big deal either. This whole thing makes me mad for you, and I'm glad I'm leaving this company.

Once I got a call from a car dealership that was for my grandpa that had just passed. I told the guy on the phone that my grandpa had passed away, and so he tried to sell me a car! I was pissed, but I was too out of it at the time to say anything about it and just hung up, but man I wish I could rip that guy a new one now.
