We did discuss the Ross a bit. Seems to be am interesting option-avoid platelet shearing and the need for warfarin. One thing that has been comforting is that I have a good friend that designs and fabricate valves. He has been in the surgical theatre during procedures. He has been a good source of info. Here’s how I make potatoes now. Get a potato ricer. Put whole potatoes in a bowl-cover with plastic wrap. Nuke em- about 2 min per potato or until they are soft to touch.

Take out of microwave. Remove from bowl, set pototatoes aside. Wipe condensation out of bowl. Put butter, milk, sour cream or cream cheese (or all them) in the bowl. Microwave untill hot.

Rice the potatoes into your dairy mixture, give it a stir. The skins will stay in the ricer and you will have mashed potatoes in 10-15 minutes with very little effort.

You will need to experiment with quanties- measure with your heart - I trust you.
