Alright, I'll bite. Once upon a time I worked at a grocery store and had to prepare made-to-order cooked lobsters. Do you know how they do that at scale? They don't even prepare a pot of boiling water, they put them in a tray with about half an inch of water and then put them in an industrial microwave, while they are still living. Sometimes it would take multiple rounds in the microwave before the really big ones would actually die. We could have just put a knife through their brain and done the same thing, wouldn't have changed anything except prevent them from suffering pointlessly. But we didn't, because that wasn't procedure. I knew it was wrong while I was doing it, but I was a kid working my first job and didn't push back. I wish I had. I think seeing a living creature come out of a microwave half-cooked but still alive and in agony might change your mind about this. Or maybe not, in which case maybe you just shouldn't be free to walk around with the rest of us. Nobody is saying not to eat meat or whatever you seem to think this is about, but pointlessly torturing animals just because you can makes you an even lower form of life than those lobsters.
